Default Oven fried chicken

I am thinking about making oven fried chicken. Has anyone made a recipe similar to one of these? How did it turn out? Do you have a recipe that you can suggest?

http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/...c-8bf0c93a8124 (instead of Bisquick mix, I was going to use flour)

Maybe this is a better option? http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/i...ipe/index.html

I really like the idea of soaking the chicken overnight in buttermilk for a crispy crust. I wonder if that will work with the first two recipes, too?

Suggestions? TIA

I do something similar to shake 'n bake, but use ONLY parmesan cheese (the dried powder kind in the italian foods section). My whole family LOVES it, and it fits in nicely w/my low carb WOE.

I'm going to give it a try tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Hungry Girl does it with a crushed All Bran coating. May want to check out that site. I have not done it as it is not a food I crave but always thought the cereal had a lot of depth that might help
