I went this weekend and my son is the only one who got anything.. a cup of organic fresh mint lemonade and a bag of kettle corn.

I did go about 2 hours after it opened.. so I'm sure the best stuff was already scooped up. I will be there when it opens next weekend.

I did see signs with great prices.. (no more product though) like 4 for 1.00 green peppers, 1.00 cauliflower (its almost 3 bucks in store ouch!) I think the cukes and zuccini were 2 for 1.00 as well. They did have a bunch of tasty looking potatoes but currently I can not eat those .

3 baskets strawberries - $7
4 bunches of asparagus - $8
2 lbs of broccoli - $1.50
1 doz XL eggs - $2.50
2 lb bag Yukon Gold potatoes - $2
2 bunches purple kale - $2

And the really exciting firsts:
1 lb cherries - $2
1.5 lbs baby summer squashes - $3
Cherries yum, we will not have those until the end of summer or near the end of summer. sigh

I did not get too much as I still had veg. from last week.

Empire Apples (tons for $5)
Fiddleheads (foraged-1 pound $10- a luxury item for sure)
2 containers of cremini mushroooms ($6)
1 dozen large eggs (5)
Large bag of salad greens-spicy mix- (5)
1 raw nut burger (6)
1 cup fairtrade organic coffee (1.50)
1 small sweet potato muffin (1.50)

The first asparagus of the season was to be in but froze. We had a cold spell last week and asparagus is delicate. So will hope for first asparagus of the season this coming Saturday. Do not know if I can afford the fiddleheads again but they were amazing!!!! Morels will be coming in too, wild, but will be expensive I know.

Enjoy your fresh produce everyone!
