Default Alternatives to instant soup

I like drinking a mug of hot chicken broth or thin chicken noodle soup during the day. The problem is they always contain ridiculous amounts of sodium.

Does anyone have a low sodium alternative for Lipton cup-a-soup, or a low sodium chicken soup base, they recommend?

President's Choice Blue Menu beef or beef consommeé or else OXO makes low-sodium cubes/packets in beef, chicken, and vegetable.

or just make your own. drop-dead easy, tasty, and a great way to use kitchen scraps:

Better than Boullion is concentrated base you mix with hot water - but it would just make some hot broth, not an actual soup. It's got less salt than instant soup, but it's still kinda salty.

I like homemade stock too because it's easy and it tastes a million times better than store-bought. When I don't have any on-hand, I get Trader Joe's low sodium (70mg per cup) or Pacific Organic low sodium (also 70mg).

I always make soups and freeze them in little tupperware cups and pack one for lunch everyday. I usually make 1-2 batches per weekend, so I have quite a variety of soups to choose from.

Oh, and I sometimes buy the no sodium Herb Ox bouillion.

Vogue Cuisine makes an instant broth that is low sodium.

I use their VegeBase instead of stock when I make things that I normally would use stock in, such as cooking quinoa. They offer chicken and beef bases as well.

I order mine from Amazon.
