i don't find it hard to digest at all - well, except the tougher cuts of beef if they're raw (yes, there's been times i've gotten out of the gym and been SO STARVED that i literally knocked back a raw steak). those gave me gas.
I never get the "meat is so bad for you" mentality. As lifters, how the heck would we get enough protein otherwise anyway? I'm not really keen on too many artificial means of doing so even though I do enjoy my protein shakes.
I have chicken every day. They can take my grilled chicken from me when I'm dead.
Oh god and a good steak? LOVE IT.
