I LOVE LOVE LOVE cottage cheese with pineapples. I get the pack from costco- dole gold, drain it and then dump half the can into by bowl with a cup or two of cottage cheese. Yum!

My MIL swears by cottage cheese with salsa and peanuts. I haven't tried the combo myself, but thought I'd share!

It took me awhile to get used to Cottage Cheese, but it is now a staple in my house. I prefer it savory. So I add it to my pasta sauces, lasgna, on top of veggies, with cracked black pepper. It really does take on the taste of what you mix it with, so I try and mix it with everything I can.
I also love Cottage Cheese Pancakes.

1/2 cup whole grain oats
1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese
4 egg whites
1 tsp of vanilla

Mix everything in a blender and cook just like regular pancakes.
The whole batch is worth 7 points (before toppings) I'm making it tonight for Pancake Tuesday. It may seem a little higher in points than regular pancakes but they are clean, and keep you full and satisfied where regular pancakes have no health benefits.

Once cooked I top with apples, pumpkin pie spice, almonds or walnuts and a dab of honey. It keeps me full for hours on end and is so much healthier than regular pancakes.

I used to hate yogurt with a passion, but started having some for breakfast every day just to see if I could learn to like it. The moral of this story is you may be able to teach yourself to like cottage cheese the more you try. As for me, I like to scoop out the seeds from half of a cantaloupe and put cottage cheese in the middle, then decide which kind of bites I want to take as I eat it.
