Waiting in line at the supermarket this week, I saw a magazine called Food & Fitness, published by Consumer Reports. I've always liked CR - I appreciate that they don't accept advertising at all, in order to keep their reporting as unbiased as possible.
I went ahead and got it and have been enjoying the articles. There are a bunch of food/taste tests (ice cream, frozen diet meals, bread, etc.), ideas on how to save at the grocery store, and recipes. I haven't finished yet, but there's a section on "As Seen on TV" exercise equipment.
Just thought I'd pass this on for those who might be looking for some information without wading through tons of ads!
