Difference between grass-fed and regular beef??

  • What's the difference in calories and fat between regular beef you'd get at the supermarket and freshly butchered grass-fed beef? I ask this because when we cooked the fresh beef there was absolutely no grease! Oh, and it tasted different ... different as in REALLY good.
  • I have been wondering this as well, I have eaten strictly grass fed and finished beef for the past 3 or 4 years. I know that it is significantly leaner (and tastier!) but I've hard a hard time nailing down the caloric difference. I did find this online-

    There is a big difference in price which turns alot of people off but it really isn't necessary to eat beef, or any meat everyday. I'd say we have beef 3 times a month or so which makes it budget and health friendly!
