  • 99% of the time I go natural - honey, agave, maple syrup, date sugar, Stevia. I will occasionally use sugar/brown sugar in recipes if I'm not certain how to make a natural substitution. I avoid the chemical fake stuff like the plague - it all tastes horrid and I'm skeered of it.
  • I always use natural sugar, pref brown type, but never, ever any artificial stuff. YUK!! Apart from the fact I usually end up with a headache or some other reaction I can always taste the stuff and it's awful!
  • Ok, I'm going to be honest! I have a real sweet tooth. I will use the real stuff if I'm baking. And I don't have a problem with Splenda in diet colas or other products. Lately I've been using Stevia in my oatmeal and plain greek yogurt. Yummy! If it's sweet and lower in calories it's for me. It doesn't seem to bother me or trigger cravings.
