Hmm...for mine, I just have fun mixing together whatever fruits I have on hand. Nectarines/peaches are good with the berries. Orange/pineapple/strawberry is nice. Just a bunch of berries is, too.
For the best liquid base, I like unsweetened apple juice. That way you get enough sweetness, but it's not extra sugar like regular apple juice. Skim milk also goes well. I have one of those little personal 16 oz blenders - very handy, since you can also unscrew the cup and now it's your drink. So I just fill it with 8 oz of liquid and chock full of frozen fruit.
I think for me...as long as I just use frozen fruit and the unsweetened juice or skim milk, it turns out pretty low cal/low fat.
