I'm in the dorms and having this problem too - only I don't have any access to a kitchen.

I really recommend buying oatmeal in bulk and getting different things to put in it. I'm struggling with WHAT to put in it though. Right now I'm working with canned peaches (they take up a TON of fridge space fresh) - but recommendations are welcome.

! Good idea, but I'm still not sure exactly. If i do end up using the kitchen, I'll probably cook something in a large back and separate it, like my own trail mix or something !

Eskinomad- Try dried fruits and fruit mixes. Chopped nuts work well too. So do bananas (if you like them blegh.) and those stay just fine at room temperature. Fresh berries take up very little space in the fridge.
