BluetoBlue I love greek yogurt too. I buy Fage 0% and mix in blueberries, strawberries or Fiber One Original. It is so yummy!!! This type of yogurt has 20 grams of protein so it keeps you fuller longer.

I love cereal, but it's too many calories, and the serving is so tiny! So I stay away from it.

I have a *bad* nighttime cereal habit - it's very hard for me to go to sleep without having a bowl 1/2 hour before. I stick to Kashi Go Lean, or Kashi Cinnamon Harvest, but still, I know I shouldn't be doing it. Some days having just a glass of milk is enough for me, but those days are rare!

My DH told someone the other day - "I didn't marry a serial killer, I married a cereal eater!" I fell of my chair laughing about that one!

I used to feel bad when I tried to eat cereal for breakfast (not even dieting) because I would want 2 or 3 bowls to feel even a little full. IMHO, in a normal small portion size, it makes a far better snack than breakfast.

I really love the shredded mini wheats....the serving sizes are rather large, so I can eat a serving of it and feel full and eat healthy the rest of the day, plus since I'm not a morning person, the cereal gives me a boost that I need to wake up

I am a cereal addict myself as well. I've found that my weight loss completely speeds up when I don't buy it for the week. My problem is I always want a refill because its not satisfying enough because of the empty calories. My alternative is Oatmeal with berries and flax seed, a little spray of I can't believe its not butter and some almond milk stirred in. It is so delicious and satisfies that morning carb craving. Also, it stops me from reaching into the box again since I'd have to cook it. But if I buy cereal I definitely get Kashi Go lean plain because the mix of fiber and protein and low sugar is the most satisfying cereal, plus I'm not ravenous in another hour.
