So, I'm trying to make these butternut squash fries from Hungry Girl, and I have a question about the preperation of this squash!
It said to peel it, which I did. But there seems to be another "layer", that's tougher than the top layer, before you get to the "meat" of the fruit. I didn't peel that off--was I supposed to? Should I eat this part, or not?
I've never made butternut sqash before, so I have no idea what I'm doing!
