I love good old Quaker Puffed Wheat as a snack . . . not organic, but nothing but whole wheat in it . . . 1 cup is 44 calories; 2 grams protein, but only 1 gram of fibre . . . added advantage of being very inexpensive.
Quaker Puffed Rice is 54 calories, 1 gram protein, 1 gram of fibre . . . calories are higher because it isn't as full of air as the wheat . . . but I don't like the taste as well.
And here we go for 2009 . . . Onward and Downward . . .
