I don't eat fast food, never did. I can't remember the last time I went to McDonalds or Burger King by choice - I know that the last time I was coerced into going there was roughly two years ago on a business trip when my boss was driving and stopped at Burger King to get some food. It was either eat there or go hungry.

Fast food has never been my issue. It just doesn't appeal to me. Chocolate and wine, on the other hand...

I just lost all respect for Carls Jr. This is CLEARLY viral (hello? same post on two "light" boards? For the product that Carls is currently HEAVILY marketing via TV ads, web spots, etc?) And advertising not healthy options, but fried chicken sandwiches with over 26 g of fat?

Ugh. I'd totally report the thread if the conversation itself wasn't good.

Personally, I always thought Carl's Jr food was a bunch of slop. We had one on campus when I went to college and their food was just... gross. It isn't a place I'd visit anyway.

I absolutely detest Carl's Jr. Everything about the store makes me ill. Their food, their politics, everything. (Literally ill, I had food poisoning TWICE at 2 different stores)

And now they are so insulting to think they can lure dieters by spamming us?

boycott! boycott! :P

its my go-to for that chicken sandwich, and even I would boycott it. HONESTLY. Spamming the dieters with food porn in hopes they'll abandon their healthy plans and go in for a fried chicken sandwich.

FOR SHAME.

I guess the attempt at marketing must not be working too well, since everybody named other restaurants anyway. Heck, I live in NYC and I don't even know what Carl's Jr. is. Is it prominent in certain regions or have I missed it because it doesn't have golden arches?

you ladies are good for noticing that... I never would have guessed that to be spam. Don't really like Carl's jr. When I lived in Cali I had it - but it was some of the worst (diet wise) food for you. I don't know anything about their politcs. Please explain.
I try to stay away from fast food. I'm not always good at it. My step son works at McDonalds and I drop him off at work about 3-4 times a week. Last week I was tempted and broke down and had a big mac. The worst part - it was soooo good! Isn't that terrible!

When I lived in Canada I would have a "lick's" burger.. made fresh in front of you.. Yummy!! I don't want to know the calories thou!

Fast food here at home is a veggie burger.. yummy!
