Question Calories for rice and pasta - cooked or dry?

Some packages for foods I've looked at say: XXX calories per 1/2 cup cooked, or 1/2 cup dry, etc. But some boxes do not. My rice and pasta boxes don't, it's just 50 g of rice = ___ calories, fat, etc. Same with pasta. Should I assume that means dry rice and dry pasta?

If it doesn't specifically say cooked, it probably means "as is", meaning dry.
