I am doing Turbo Jam now too. I find it fun but I am SO uncoordinated and get lost in the movements easily. So far, I have done learn and burn and the 20 minute workout combined. I am waiting to get more comfortable with the movements before moving on to cardio party

I just started Turbo Jam last week. I did Learn & Burn Wednesday and Friday last week to try and get moving. I'm doing the beginner rotation, and my Week 1 officially started this morning. So far so good!

I picked up 2 turbo jam videos at a garage sale - they were cheap - $2 but it is the "punch, kick and jam" one and the "cardio party mix 3" - i looked at it but I have no idea what these people are doing - how can i learn these moves without making an additional purchase (as i don't have money to buy another video)... they look interesting but they move so fast i have no idea where to start

I have TJ and am planning on getting back into it. To be honest, I have absolutely no energy lately. It's hard enough just to get out of bed or off the couch. I don't know what's going on. I talked to my mom and she said I need to get outside, get some sun and move around. I didn't realize how heavy I have gotten until she said that.

All I told her was that I was exhausted and it turned into the 20 email conversation that I did not expect to have. Ugg! I work from home and never leave the house... except for groceries... until the weekend comes. No kidding, I will go 5 days without moving my car!

This has really taken its toll on my body. I just noticed today the lack of energy I have. I need some motivation, because right now I just feel depressed about the whole thing. Maybe TJ will get me out of my funk.

Just finished my first day and I'm loving it. I had a hard time keeping up with the changes but I think that will come with time.
I am so ready for my second day tomorrow

Started the beginners rotation of Turbo Jam today and wow did it give me a burn. Not exercising for 8+ years will do that to you. I have to say that TJ has a steep learning curve with the dance moves (for me at least), I will try to do Learn and Burn one more time tonight so I'll do better tomorrow.

By the way how did you guys perfect the "tuck" for those who have mastered or have advanced? I'm having some difficulty with that and it appears to be the base to a lot of her routine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

omg I just finished my third day. first with the 20 minute...
I was so confused I didn't know what I was doing half the time I just got the hang of 'learn and burn' and then here come different moves and I'm just standing in the middle of my livingroom going I'm supposed to be doing what exactly?
But I just kept moving and never mind the screw ups it will come with more practice (I guess).
Still loving it
How are you guys doing?

Hi Everyone,

I'm on my second week of Beginner Rotation (after letting my dvds collect dust for several years) and Cardio party kicked my butt today! I got lost on some parts and I thought that since I am pretty good with the 20 min that I would have no problems. Yea right... I think everyone, including myself, should take it easy and it will get easier.

elNuevo - I actually have to take it easy, do low impact and think "tuck, tuck, tuck, tuck" throughout the workout. Sometimes I'm good with my tuck, a lot of the time I forget about it, especially during the "shake and shed" & "the pump". I always think that moving is just the most important thing, especially when starting turbo jam. Also Charlene always says don't think so heavily about it, just move and have fun.

Hi everyone! I have had turbo jam for a while and I go through spurts with them. I just ordered a bodymedia fit and wanted to start doing them again. This thread seems to not be very active anymore. Anyone still around?
