I'm thinking that if I announce it here and now I won't back out.

It's official TJ and I have a long overdue date tomorrow morning!

I just finished doing Turbo Jam Learn and Burn for the first time.

I gotta say, the muscles in my legs are killing me- but I guess that is a good thing.

Also, I cannot seem to get one of the steps. I guess my coordination is not all the way there!

Default Turbo Jam VS. Slim in Six??

I'm just wondering if anyone who is currently working out with Turbo Jam has tried Beach Body's Slim in Six DVD's before? I have never done Turbo Jam...My mom got it and never really got into it and she said Turbo Jam was kinda complicated as far as moves go. Which I guess I could see if she was comparing it to Slim in Six (The moves are pretty straight laced and non-fancy).

Just thinking of trying Turbo Jam.

Is anyone here still doing this workout? I got turbo jam last week and I'm loving it! I only have the five workouts on the 2 disk set so far, but I just ordered fat blaster and I'm really excited for it. Cause honestly I despise Cardio Party 1. I don't like squats and I can't do many kicks in my small area, and there's a whole like ten minutes on just that, so it makes it hard to do it. So I'm looking forward to rotating the 20 minute, fat blaster, and ab jam for cardio. Well hopefully the fat blaster doesn't have too many kicks lol.

Anyway, yea. Anyone still here and what kinda results have you all gotten so far?

Talking Hi

Hey I'm brand spanking new. I haven't even had time to update my profile but I have a question that needs answering first. I procured my Turbo Jam DVDs from a friend and I don't have the manual. How do I alternate the workouts? I bought Power 90 about 4 years ago and still love it. I know with that program you alternate sweat and sculpt every other day and take the 6th day off. I'm assuming it's similar? If someone could point me to the right direction I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Okay so I am on day 5 of my Turbo Jame workout. The Turbo Sculpt kills my knees. I found that when she does the pulse (sort of bounce in squat or lunge) that move is the knee pain maker. I did it tonight without pulsing and the knees feel SO much better! I'm alternating Power 90 one week and Turbo Jam another week. Tomorrow I'm Fat Blasting, taking Sunday off then back to Power 90. I've been doing Power 90 and the treadmill at home for about a month and half. I've lost 5 pounds on the scale BUT about 15 inches!!! Makes no sense to me but I'm hoping that the muscle is making the scale seem off and one day I'll weigh myself and it will reflect accurately.

I am thinking of starting a Turbo Jam Accountabilty Challenge for April 2009;

The rules are easy we are all just going to do this for a period of 2 weeks

a)Starting 1 April to 14 April
b)Everyday we just list down any form of Turbo Jam exercise done!
c)The rules are simple, just do any form of TJ exercise be it just the 15 MINS TJ Burn or the 40 Mins Cardio Party 3 (just have to move everyday hehhehe)
d)The aim is to do some form of Turbo Jam exercise per day for the 2 weeks (some people like me do my cardio on Mon then alternate with weights on tuesday etc) But there is no pressure this is your own personal exercise routine, you modify to your needs and wants.
e)Challenge takers may take measurements for eg weight at start + measurement in inches(But this can be for our personal view as some people including me are shy still to tell everyone my weight hehehh) or we can share our weight or inches loss later heheheh
Thats about it
Feel free to add on!

Any Takers

For E.g

Default TJ Challenge - April

SC82 - great! Thanks for laying it out. Can I ask why we're only doing the challenge for 2 weeks though? I'm not sure if you have ever run into this problem, but I tend to gain weight in the first week of a new program but then lose considerably in the following weeks. Let me know if you'd be open to extending it for the full month.

Thanks again - very excited about this! (despite the fact that I did the lower body and fat blaster yesterday and can't move this morning) IT'S WORKING!

Im open to it being for 1 month but i have tried doing it for 2 weeks last time and managed to only do it for 12 days heheheh, what with spurts of no motivations and whatnot , but i am up for doing it for a full month period hehehhe. As sometimes i cannot do all the exercises on time, im going to have my period soon hehhe.

We can do it for 2 weeks then rest for ppl who want then continue until the rest of the month. So basically we can list down all the TJ exercise we will be doing everyday ; do if u want we can have a 30 day challenge .
