No step required - at least not for the workouts I've been doing. I'd urge anyone to try TJ (and Hip Hop Abs). Both are fun, fun, fun! You blink and before you know it - the 20 or 30 minutes have flown by. I don't know about anyone else - but that's totally what I need right now to keep me moving!

Does anyone know of Beachbody coupons or Turbo Jam coupons? I'm thinking of buying the ball workout.
Thanks.

Idealmuse- I'm not sure of any turbo jam coupons.
I just did turbo sculpt and I really felt the burn. How often should I do the turbo sculpt? I was thinking maybe 3 times a week.

I would suggest 2-3 times a week. Leaving a day inbetween workouts that involve strength training is usually what is recommended. I usually do mine every other day.

It's been a while since I last done Turbo Jam, but I really miss it. So I decided to get back to it starting today with cardio party 1 and ab jam.

Diva-
Great job! I have turbo jam but have never done the ab jam. Is it hard?

Teacher-
IMO not really, the first half it easy since it's standing abs, the second half is done on the floor and it's a little bit more difficult but not too much.

All is quiet in Turbo land on 3FCs... I guess it's not as popular as it was last year. I'm kinda surprised though because it's such a good fun workout but the buzz has died down.
Today I did Cardio Part II for the first time since last year.
Still can't find an active Beach Body coupon they must have stopped making them available... I'm going to try and trade some DVDs for the ball series instead. I have trouble paying 40 bucks plus whatever outrageous shipping and I don't really need the ball I have one.

Idealmuse-
We can check in with each other. I'm doing the C25K running program on Mon, Wed, and Fri morning. My plan is to do Turbo Jam on the other days. Tomorrow is a Turbo day and I'll check in. When and what Turbo videos do you do? I brought Turbo Jam off ebay so I just have the 5 basics- learn and burn, ab jam, turbo scuplt, cardio party, and the quick 20 or 25 minute workout. I never got the plan from Beach Body since I got it off ebay. I like to check in after my workouts, it keeps me motivated and I need that!

Teacher -
I plan on starting a C25K type program too soon as soon as I can get a treadmill and drop maybe another 20lbs. Hows it been going for you so far?
I bought the original set from BeachBody when I had one of those good coupons that no longer seem to exisit! But I have collected/traded for most of the advanced ones too. I'm missing the "Fat Blaster" one from the advanced set. I did find someone to trade me the new ball ones for some other DVDs so I'll have those in a few weeks now woo hoo!
I mostly still am working off the basic set because of my weight. I do mostly cardio party I and II now as I like the aerobic ones better then the sculpting ones. I'm a little nervous to try some of the more advanced ones just yet!
Which ones do you find yourself doing inbetween the running?
You're not missing much with the "diet" plan. I don't follow it myself I do my own thing. It reads sorta like any generic diet in a fitness magazine.
I don't do only turbo jam though I mix it up with walk away the pounds, step aerobics, walking outside briskly (in preparation for learning to run), some other kickboxing type DVDs.

Idealmuse-
I'm only on week 2 of the C25K and it seems to be okay. I'll probably have to repeat a few weeks because I'm so out of shape. I've been checking out the Y schedule lately so I might do the C25K Wed, Fri, and Sun, then try some turbo jam and a class or two at the Y. I use a treadmill for the C25K but many of the other people of the program run outside.

I did Learn and burn. There were some parts, especially during the workout, I couldn't do. So I marched in place. But evidently it worked some because my sides are hurting. Now, I can't say much for my abs cause they were hurting before because yesterday I did my PUSH. I am pretty sure my sides weren't hurting. I'm such a masochist that I want to do Turbo Jam again to feel the lovely side pains so more.

Daimere - Know what the first time I popped it in did the Learn to burn and the 20min one I thought I was going to hatttttte it. It took me a few run throughs to get all the moves down, but so glad I stuck with it because they really are some of my favorite DVDs. I did Punch,Kick,Jam today from the advanced set and did about 20mins of rebounding after that. Not bad for a big girl eh?
Stick with it. DOM is good for you it means it's working. Hope you enjoy it once you get the moves down.
