Today was total body strength training, I guess I am still somewhat recovering from Wednesdays 1000 calorie workout, I could not lift as much as I normally do. I think I will reserve those long ones to once every other week.

Diana: the reason I like the weights a bit more than cardio is that I know the more muscle I build the more calories I will burn throughout the day. I use to only do cardio (elliptical at that) at the gym when I had a membership. But now that I workout from home and bought a pair of power block weights I am really enjoying it. The gym intimidated me in the weight area, I was never sure if I was doing things right and all those guys would hog there little space.

So week 3 of 8 completed....

Ciecie - WAY TO GO!!!!!! I'm proud of you and I also love non scale victories!

This week has been chock full of yard work, gardening and some weight lifting. I've eaten very clean everyday and lost 2.5 pounds! Wow!! I'm so pleased 😊

Have a great weekend and keep up the great work, everyone!

I don't like weights in the weight room. I prefer a class or on my own with a DVD. Great job working through your program.

tubolard Great job on the 6 miles.

Ciecie Great job staying active.

Waving Hi all around!
