Forgot to post!
On Saturday I biked and for the first time wasn't dropped. 34 miles
Today I ran the 5k and came in third place in my age group. 29:07 for 3.1 miles. Very happy with that, I actually ran faster last October but still very happy with it!
Ran 5 miles, then did the Leslie flexibility stretch. I have this routine where I have it all queued up to play as soon as I get back. Then when it's done and I usw the foam roller, I set it up for the next time. I didn't do the dvd on Sunday became I was not home, at the 5k. I could tell the difference in my soreness. Don't skip her stretches!
My goal was to get to five and I got there last week!
My dil's mother is your age and she is cutting back because her sister who runs has to have knee replacement. Always something. I suppose it's an individual thing and her mother is overreacting.
