Hi Everyone!

The prep for DH's colonoscopy didn't work as well as what was needed. There were no polyps for what the Dr. could see. So that's good. The Dr. will want to repeat the colonoscopy some time in the future. But nothing looked suspicious so it's not an emergency.

For the upper, it looks like his antacid is not strong enough. DH had a stricture so the Dr. stretched the esophagus. He took several biopsies from areas that look irritated. The biopsies will be sent off and we should know something definite within a week. He said from all of his years of experience, based on what he saw, the areas look to be irritations from the acid and nothing to worry about. Hopefully that's true and we will know the results soon. The Dr. prescribed a stronger antacid to help with the acid.

So, all and all it doesn't appear we are dealing with anything major and it can be dealt with with medicine. Thank you so much for the support, thoughts and prayers for us. I truly appreciate them. It was very difficult for me to see him knocked out from the meds. I was so relieved when he came to.

No workout for today. We ate lunch out at a place we haven't been to in a while. It was a nice lunch. Then DH wanted pizza for dinner. I haven't had pizza since before my Mom passed away and DH hasn't had it since his friend passed away almost a year ago. Would you believe I didn't even like it? It has probably been 4 years since I have had pizza. I ate 2 pieces of pizza and my off plan lunch. Now I feel gross.

Tomorrow is back on plan for me.

Waving Hi all around! Rest well.

Hi everyone!

Diana- wonderful news about your DH! I'll keep the prayers coming. Pizza is my favorite. I'm down to about every 2 weeks or so rather than twice a week.

today- nothing... parent/teacher conferences late night

Hello Everyone!

Diana: I am so glad that things turned out so well for your DH.

We had company yesterday and went out for both breakfast and lunch. Today my weight is up 1.6 pounds. That's probably water from the inflammation of eating off plan foods. Back to it today!

Yesterday evening we went for a 30 minute walk.

Today's Check-In:
Daily Burn True Beginner: Stability and Mobility 2
Tai Chi Chih: Movements 16-20

Tomorrow we will be leaving early for a seminar in Irvine, CA. It takes over 5 hours to drive there from here, so I won't have time to workout before we leave.

Have a tremendous Thursday!

Hi Everyone!

Teacher Congrats on the weight loss!

Well no workout today. I went to the shop to workout and the gate was in the middle of the parking lot. (note: all drama happens when DH is away and I have to deal with things on my own. He was at the farm turkey hunting. I was able to get in touch with him so he could come back. In the mean time I called the police and dealt with them.) Someone had attached a strap to the gate and pulled it down and stole a truck. The gate is very heavy duty and on large rollers. The lock is so big that they couldn't cut it. We just had cameras installed. We didn't want the cameras but having them lowered the price on our monitoring since we signed a new contract. Also, they didn't even charge for the equipment. When we tried to look at the video, that one camera wasn't set to record. All of the other ones are. So frustrating. So I guess my exercise for the day was us (me, DH, and our part time helper) straightening the fence and up-righting it. My muscles came in handy today. We braced the gate with trucks on each side. Hopefully no one will mess with anything tonight.

Hi Everyone!

Today's workout was Grocery Shopping Max. I couldn't do any shopping on Friday night due to having to deliver a truck to a customer. You know about my drama from yesterday, so no shopping got done. So I had a lot to do today. I just finished up with everything and need to get ready for bed. It was a long day for sure. So, Shopping and Errand max was on tap for today. I usually break up my shopping since I have to shop at different areas, depending on what we need. I had to do it all today.

Teacher I had DH go by the shop today, before he went hunting. I didn't want to go there today and they came back again. I just didn't want to deal with it. Do you go back to work tomorrow or do you have this week off?

Enjoy your evening!
