Hi Everyone

I wanted to share something that's going on. Do you remember when Cody's ear flared up? A few weeks ago he got a bump in his ear. When I took him to the groomer they agreed it looked like a bug bite. It's still there, so I took him to the Vet this week. The Vet tried to get some cells out of it, but nothing came out, it was hard. The Vet wanted to try him on an antibiotic again in case a pore got inflamed/plugged. I took him to the groomer today and they agreed that it doesn't look like a bug bite any longer. UGH! Now I am worried sick over him. I hate the C word and that's automatically where my thoughts go. I feel very panicky over the situation and literally want to schedule surgery to have it removed now! UGH! I hate feeling like this. I know I should just do what the Vet says, give the antibiotics and see how things are after that. UGH! Not happy right now.

Hi Everyone!

Check-In: Heather Corndorf Kickbox Burn w/weighted gloves

I was really trying to punch out my aggressions today. DH walked into the office while I was working out and said "why are you trying to kill the guy"?

Enjoy your evening!

Diana- I'm so sorry... I know it's hard not to worry but I would follow the vet's suggestions. I know it's scary to think what it could be. Sending prayers that the medicine heals it up. Keep us posted.

today- swim 45 min

Teacher Thank you. Someone in another check-in wanted me to google sebaceous cyst. I did and there were some images that look like what Cody has. Hopefully that's all it is.

So the person who avoids drama at all costs (me) found herself in the middle of drama again today. I was witness to a hit and run. A person turned from the left lane across the path of a moped to go up the ramp to the interstate. The guy on the moped hit the side of the car. He didn't have a helmet on (not a law here). He spun around and hit the asphalt on the side of his head right in front of me. There were a lot of cars stopping and knew that I couldn't do anything for the moped guy that other people around couldn't do. I felt the best thing for me to do was to follow the car. It ripped my heart out to go around him and leave him in the middle of the road like that. It felt like the person in the car was trying to get away. I was able to follow and get close enough to get the license tag number and make/model of the car. The traffic on the interstate ended up being stopped so I was able to see what I needed to. I pulled off and went to a parking lot to call 911 with the info. Later an officer called me to get my side of the story. He kept questioning the info about the tag that I got because that tag was registered over 100 miles away. They had called the house where the tag is registered and no one would give any info. At the time the officer was at the Medical University and the moped guy was in ICU. I met the officer at the police station to give my story. Come to find out my tag info was correct. There are cameras on the interstate that takes still shots of license tags all day. The put the info into the system and that car goes that way every day. I was able to see a picture of the car and was able to confirm that it was the correct car. While I was writing out my statement the Sergent called in and said they had information on the whereabouts of the person and they were trying to get them. I expressed to the police officer that it about killed me to leave the moped guy there. He said that I had done the right thing because there were plenty of witnesses to verify my story but no one knew anything about the car. I have been a nervous wreck since all of that nonsense. I am glad to be home.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I was able to sleep in this morning! DH had to go to the farm early, he said he was going to get up at 4:30. I slept in the other room. I had bought some extra heavy duty ear plugs to try out. I didn't wake until 8:30 and I think I was in bed around 11 PM. I normally wake while is up moving around, even with ear plugs. Then I rarely sleep that late in the first place. I think the new type of ear plugs helped.

Last night I added on:
Tamilee Webb Total Body Stretch Standing
Start Your Engines from Fat Free Yoga

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

We went to the final fishing tournament of the season. I took a rest day since we had to leave early afternoon. Not enough time to get it all done.

Teacher Is your brother and sister enjoying their Summer? What grade is your brother in? Is your sister looking forward to going back to college?

Enjoy your evening!

Diana- yep, the little ones are enjoying the summer. My sister is staying here for her 2nd year of college and my little brother is going into 9th grade. Is your DH sad about the last tournament of the season? I feel like summer is ending since I'll start work Friday. However, I'll still be able to swim on the weekends.

today- elip 30 min

Hi Everyone!

I took an unintended rest day. I went to the shop to workout and finish up my monthly chores (dusting, incidental filing, cleaning the bathrooms, and straightening up). We are also having a heat wave here. The heat index in the shade has been around 115*. The shop is closed so there is no ventilation. I have an A/C in the office and had that nice and cool. After I finished cleaning the office I went out in the shop to clean the bathrooms. The thermometer was pegged out at 120*. I'm sure it was 130+ out there. I was trying to clean the bathrooms, I had sweat in my eyes and my clothes were sticking to me from the sweat. That just wiped me out so didn't get a workout in. Tomorrow is suppose to be worse. It is suppose to cool off by the end of the week.

Teacher DH does not like the heat at all! He is looking forward to cooler weather. Actually they quit with the tournaments because when it gets too hot the fish don't bite. Will your sister live at home or on campus? Is she still wanting to be in nursing?

Waving Hi all around! Enjoy your evening!
