    The last time I did Jillian Michael's 30DS I was skinny and just wanted to tone up.

    This time it's personal I hate her and love her.

    So I figure '' I Know this works, so why the $/%/$% not!?'' hahaha

    Here is my starting information, feel free to join in or just keep track of my attempt at succeeding this time around

    Starting Weight:
    178.6 lb

    Measurements:
    Chest: 39 in
    Waist: 35 in
    Hips: 43 in
    Biceps: 13 in
    Forearm: 10 in
    Wrist: 6.5 in
    Thighs: 27 in
    Right above the knees: 21 in
    Calves: 16.5 in
    Ankles: 9.5 in


    I`m really excited to get my bum kicked haha

    But as hard as it was and as much as I hated it, I felt great afterwards
  • LOL, I hear ya on loving and hating her!!! I was supposed to start back on Day 1 last night but I couldn't find the DVD so did the elliptical instead. Hopefully I can find it today and do it, there's still free videos online that I can use if I cannot find it.

    Did you use weights or no? The very first time I tried it out, I totally could not use anything, lol.

    Good job on completing day 1. I will be watching this thread to see your progress!
  • amandie hahaa I honestly wanted to do both Jillian and the elliptical and I thought I was going to die after that 23 minutes of **** she put me through, maybe I'll do both tonight.

    I did use weights, I tried starting it with 8lb weights and felt my arms were going to fall off with her stupid side lunges so I changed it up to 5lb for the rest of the way down.

    Hopefully you can start with me and we can encourage each other

  • Did Level 1 - Day 2 last night and I am SORE. I remembered thinking "was it day 3 or 4 that's literally ****?" Well it's day 3. I can't breathe without pain but it doesn't matter I am one of the crazies that loves the soreness. It's a constant reminder throughout the day that I'm doing this for a reason.

  • Hey MandyLamy congrats those are amazing changes!!! I haven't measured since day 1 - I will after every level

    I had a NSV with 30DS today, on day 1, I bought a slimming body glove to wear under my clothes for my workout, and I couldn't fit. It was a one-size and I couldn't zip it up.

    Today, on day 7, I decided to try it out and it fit!!! That is for sure a 1-2 inch difference on my hips hahaha oh my and the sweating I did with it was just amazing

  • Hi everyone! I'm on my third day of 30 day shred (about to do it right now!) and man are my legs sore! It's probably not good that I work a desk job so when my muscles are tight from the workouts, I don't get to stretch them out during the day. I'm having a hard time even sitting down

    I took some "before" pictures on day 1 and realized just how far I have to go but have also come a long way already (35 lbs and two sizes down). Anyway, stats are below because now that they're out to the world I'll feel the need to report back smaller numbers lol:

    Weight - 222.9 lbs
    Bust - 41"
    Hips - 51"
    Waist - 40"
    Right Thigh - 29.5"
    Left Thigh - 29"
    Right Bicep - 15"
    Left Bicep - 14"
  • Thinking about picking back up 30 day shred because I get bored easily so I try to do at least two workouts in variation so that I can keep going throughout the week. Very happy to see success stories and totally understand the love/hate with Jillian. There are days I want to hug her in thanks so I can choke her afterwards. Lol

    I started 30ds 4 days ago but i jumped to lvl 2 with 1.5 lbs weight each hand.
    So im on day 4 lvl 2. Later today will be day 5 though.
    And i do easy version (my fitness lvl cannot keep up with natalie).
    I have not measured but i will after 10 days to see if it works for me.
    Hope we can support each other ^_^
    I combine 30ds with 2-3 miles watp by leslie and no other exercise. Do u guys do anything else ?

    I tried to eat healthy but its hard. I just have a huge sweet tooth.
    Anw when i did day 5 lvl 2 yesterday, i could see an improvement in endurance. I actually took 2 secs break 2 times only. That is a big improvement in my arm strength consider myself couldnt do plank position properly when i first start. Thats why i have a lovehate relationship with jillian video as well (due to many pushup and my arms just are weak, weak and WEAK)

    I notice a difference, probably less than it is on paper, but my mind always likes to play tricks on me.

  • I moved on to lvl 3 but i hate it so much that i moved back to level 2. But a week ago i started ripped in 30 week 1 and love it so far so im doing alternate between that and lvl 2 of 30DS.
    Totally forgot to measure. But! I nơw can do knee pushup and if i try real hard i can actually manage 1-2 full pushup. Yeahhhh. A big improvement from the wall pushup lady before haha
