35 minutes of a HIIT Mash Up (kickboxing, sculpting, HIIT, cardio, pilates, toning, fat burning
20 minutes of Zumba

Annie -- yay for the weight loss!!!

Ataraxia3- are you just starting the 30 day shred?

It's been a busy week... non-stop work. Managed to get in 5 workouts though, so I'm trying to stay motivated and persistent.

Did the 2 brisk miles yesterday and the first 3 miles of the 4 fast and firm mild DVD today.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I'm spending my weekend at work - 12 hour overnights both tonight and tomorrow.

I did it a few times before back in March but it's not something i've been able to do consistently lol . I like doing it every now and then just as a good fast paced work out. I totally screwed up with my eating tonight though and im feeling guilty, I had chinese food and have had a few alcoholic drinks...hope this doesn't set me back with all the hard work i've done so far this week

Zeta-I'm not sure where you are in your training, but I just want to tell you I think it's awesome that you are able to make time for exercise with how busy you must be. I know it must be hard, but kudos to you!!

No exercise for me this weekend, but had a really nice one. Still having dental issues and have to call the dentist in the morning.

Everyone is doing such a great job and it is so motivating to come here and see you all!!

I did 2 miles this morning. I did the 2 Mile Classic Walk on the Just Walk 4 Mile Power Walk dvd. gosh I love the feeling of getting it done first thing in the morning!

AnnieDrews - I'm almost done with my 3rd year of residency -- just one more year to go (we use a July to June year).

Took yesterday as a rest day -- just not enough time in the day. Did the beginners Zumba DVD today - 40 minutes. It was kinda hard - mostly because I'm not used to the steps yet. I imagine that it will get easier as I do it more often. I followed it up with Leslie's 1 mile easy walk and the first day of the 30 day squat challenge - 50 squats. Figured I'd try to tone my thighs and butt some and the squat challenge seemed like a way to start.

Carol - Praying for you, I hope you're doing ok
Zeta - I just started the 30 day squat challenge today too! definitely want to tone my behind while i'm losing this weight

Workout for today: 2 miles + 50 squats

I was disappointed when i weighed in this morning (i weigh every Monday)...and saw I have gained 1 pound back. I don't understand why/how. I had one cheat day with chinese food & alcohol, so maybe that had something to do with it. I have no idea. I've been working out so hard so it doesn't make sense to me. But i'm not going to let this discourage me. Just gotta keep going....hoping this week i'll find better results.

hey gang

I did 2 miles this morning. I did an easy one bec I have a sore throat and now my ears are hurting i hope it's just allergies and nothing else coming on bec I sure ain't got time for that LOL anyway, I used the Walk Down Your Blood Sugar dvd.

Carol - like Annie said, I'm wondering if that was brought on by the altitude sickness? i sure hope you are better. and wait to exercise until your doc says so.

man y'all are doing the SQUATS!!! WOW!
