Still using the 5 lb weights, 2 miles at a time. You can use any of the workouts and modify with them. I think they really make a difference in strength. I can get in and our of chairs easier and reach easier when I am doing housework like rehanging the shower curtain which takes a few minutes with your arms continually raised.

5 miles walked and 27 minutes step aerobics.
My back feels even better today but I am still not going to trust it, it is just too sneaky as soon as I do it will go out completely and I will be laid up for a week. Oh yes back, I know what you are up too and it isn't going to work this time. LOL

I did 4 Fast Miles early in the morning and 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk in the early afternoon for a total of 9 miles today! I'm shooting for 100 miles in November!

5 miles walked and 6 minutes abs. My ab dvd requires a ball and I don't have one, so I did crunches for 6 minutes.

Happy Halloween everyone!!

I got a surprise this morning....I could barely walk no my right leg! I have had issues with it and it decided to act up again. I'm going to give it a couple of days and see how it does. If no better, I will go to the doc. It has loosened up a bit since this morning.

Happy Halloween!

Annie, would taking a hot bath help loosen your muscles? Take care of yourself!

I did 5K with a Twist today.

See you all next month!

Sunny-The hot bath would be a great idea, but we are busy fielding trick-or-treaters here! It isn't a muscular thing....I've had two surgeries for torn cartilage and have terrible arthritis in my knees. My right one will need a replacement someday, or so I've been told. If it doesn't get better by next week, I'll call the doc and see if can get a cortisone injection. That usually helps. Will prob take the day off from walking again tomorrow. Thanks!
