Hello ladies - appointment went ok. They didn't push the weight issue but explained why they need one. We agreed next year I will do it. She didn't think anything of the hair loss but said she will check the blood work to make sure and thinks it's my body adjusting to the "extreme" (her word) workouts and lifestyle change.

Weighed in at 150 today!! YAY! Lowest adult weight EVER for me.

Fire 60 today with Abs 10 today!

Hello ladies!! Nice work with the Eliptical, teacher! Are you back to school yet? I start back next Monday as counselors have to go back a week early. Looking forward to it!!

Tonight I'm going to try the Turbo Jam "on the ball" workout. It's 50 minutes with a large balance ball and weights...we'll see how this goes

Hi Everyone!

Check-In: Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit

This is my last week for my first month of Insanity. Next week is Recovery week. Core Cardio & Balance is scheduled for the recovery week. I also have the deluxe workout Max Interval Sports Training. The rotation says that you can substitute these workouts for each other. I will probably rotate them, unless one of them absolutely kills me. I think I did better with the workout today. I wasn't kneeling on the floor in my sweat (taking a break) as much as I normally do. I guess that's an improvement, right? The first month of workouts are shorter. I think the longest workout is 42 minutes. Some days you add on the ab workout and that's 17 minutes. Next month the workouts are much longer. They range from 55 minutes to 86 minutes. I have always loved longer cardio workouts, but I am skeered of these. I truly don't feel like I am ready for the next month.

WHOA! 86 minutes of Insanity Cardio?!?!?!?!?!?! THAT'S CRAZY but YOU CAN DO IT!

I'm envious of you and also think I may try some type of TF/Insanity hybrid starting in November....Maybe TF and P90X...not sure. I really don't care for Tony Horton's style but my hubby LOVES him.

Ended up taking yesterday as a rest day and today will conquer "on the ball"!

Back to school on Monday and I've lost 14 more pounds since the end of the year. Hoping for 1-3 more pounds to be off by the time the teachers come back on 9/4! I can't believe I will be in the 140's soon! Diana, I always look at your weight as a goal for me and I can't believe I'm basically there!

Laura- I taught special ed for 7 years but switched to subbing last year. I just got burned out and wanted something part-time. School started last week and I'll sub mostly schools where I know teachers. Most Friday afternoons I'll sub for a teacher friend who has to get a weekly shot. Good luck on starting school.

Diana- Wow, that is an insane workout program. Good luck!

today- swimming

Hi Everyone!
I looked at the reviews of the next workouts on Video Fitness. It seems the info on the length of these workouts is different than what I mentioned. I got my original info from another site. Now, I'm not sure. Maybe it won't be so bad after all. I will take a look at the DVD's soon. I hope they are not as long as I originally thought.

Check-In:
TF Fire 30 EZ
Insanity Cardio Recovery

Laura Did your DH mention that the second half workouts were really long?

Teacher Still jealous of you being able to swim on a regular basis.

Hello ladies!! Check in for today - Fire 30 and Core 20.

Teacher - I'm sure teaching special ed is very tough. While I was in grad school for counseling I was a para in a behavior program. Challenging but great. Walking dogs is great exercise! Mine love it but one of my dogs is too nervous to leave my short cul-de-sac!

Take care all
