Oh! I love this already! I've started an 8-mile per week regimen for starters with weekends of rest, and I can't wait to get back on tomorrow!

Hello, all!
I started yesterday with Leslie's 5k with a twist. It was really good. I am doing it again today.
Take care!

Hello everyone! Nice to see new faces here, too!!
My sons' grandpa died yesterday evening (their Dad's father), so I was up until about midnight last night. Slept in a bit this morning and didn't exercise at all. I hope to get back to it in the morning. Still want to try that new 4 mile.

Annie, sorry to hear that
I did Monday on Leslie's new video, plus another mile in the morning.

Hello! I finally got to do the Walk Slim 4 Fast Miles this morning! I liked it, but I get bummed not doing the boosted walking/jogging. I was told "no high-impact" by the ortho doc last spring and have followed that advice. I know I still get a good workout, but just frustrating to be getting older.

It has been such a crazy insane past week I didn't even realize it was April! I was still posting in the other thread - was wondering why it was quiet over there. Anyway 4 miles this morning. Thanks Annie for pointing me in the right direction. Also, I hardly ever do the running - I find it doesn't make a huge different in step count/calorie burn - it just makes me tired - especially when I am doing it at 5am.

It's amazing how many times I find myself tucking my tummy and pulling my shoulders back throughout the day. I've never paid attention to my posture until now. Glad for it, as the women in my family tend to have a hunched back in their older years.
2 Mile Power Walk With Friends this morning. 2# weights AND 2# weighted belt!

I have the 4 mile and the 5 mile DVDs. I use them on bad weather days sometimes. Other times, I put on a TV show and basically do the same moves to whatever show I want to watch for the evening. One thing I noticed is that I don't keep as fast of a pace. When I put the DVD on I am breathing harder.
