Default Jillian Michaels 6 week six-pack

Has anyone tried this DVD? I just checked it out at our local library and I am wondering if anyone has tried the DVD or completed the 6 weeks and what is your success story?

Hi LA, I have tried it a few times but not completed six weeks. Are you meant to do it every day? All I can say is I remember it being really tough on the ol' abs! But that's the point, isn't it? Your post comes at a great time actually, I was just thinking about this DVD today and wondering if I should start it again!

It would be great to hear if people have had success with it.

Jillian said the in DVD to do it 5 times a week.

Yes, it would be great to hear if people had success with it. I will begin this weekend and try my best to do it 5 times a week for 6 weeks. I really want to see if it works.

I also haven't done the whole 6 weeks (though maybe today is the day to start? haha). I thought it was a fun way to work both abs and do some cardio (still traumatized over the burpees), especially because there is not much dedicated ab time in Ripped in 30. It will definitely make your abs stronger. The only way to get a six pack, as she states in the video, is to have low enough body fat overall that there's not a layer of flab covering the ab muscles (i.e. can't spot reduce fat). But if you are someone like me that just has really weak abs and wants to strengthen your core, you will definitely get results in that area by doing the exercises.

I think I will start this weekend. I will take a pic of my flabby/fat stomach before I begin and at the end of the 6 weeks, I will take another pic to show the "AFTER" results and compare. I hope that I can lose at least a little bit of my muffin top.
