Default Need ideas for dance videos

I give up trying to do Insanity with a 19 month old pulling my hair or jumping on me. LOL. Can anyone recommend some dance videos, like Zumba or whatever? I know nothing about dance but I need something that I can do with my son in the room. Thanks.

Sacha,

Two that I like are The Firm's Cardio Dance Express and Shaun T's Hip Hop Abs. I've never tried Zumba but I hear it's fun.

I would definitely give Zumba a try. I did the classes for a while and lost weight but couldn't keep going. I know they make a great DVD series, which would be a good investment. I have the Wii Zumba and it is so much fun, and a great workout. Definitely recommend!

Misti Tripoli's Body Groove Delicious Dance. Very innovative. Much more free-form and fun. She gives you a rhythm and general pattern to follow, alternating from time to time, but you have a lot of latitude to move the way your body feels, rather than the carefully coreographed moves of Zumba. I like Latin music, but really don't like the instructor on the Zumba DVDs or the method that painstakingly goes over the simply moves and zips through the more complicated parts. I think you can find a sample of Misty on YouTube.
