Jillian Michaels dvds?

  • Just wondering whose tried what and how they liked them.

I bought 30 Day Shred and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism because I only have one set of dumbbells for the way of equipment and those two seemed to not need anything other then that. I haven't got them yet because I ordered online and apparently I bought them from a store in Canada so I know I'll have to wait longer then normal :\

Has anyone done her other videos and what did they consist of?
  • All of her videos are amazing if you are into intense workouts, I only have one set of 5 lbs and they are enough to do every single one of her videos [except kettle bell wkout which I don't have]...I think if you go to the biggest loser section there are dozens of threads that detail all of her videos in depth that might be helpful for you to search through. She has devoted followers here [I'm one of them!] - Just did her newest video today and it's pretty amazing - extreme shed & shred, she really branches out with cardio, strength, weights, yoga, thai fight styles & kickboxing - never a dull moment! Second favorite is No More Trouble Zones - toning with a bit of cardio style toning moves built in it's great, a bit longer than her other ones - that and BFBM that you bought will run you almost 50 minutes. 30 day shred is about 25 minutes per section - 3 sections total that get more and more difficult - it gets crazy in a good way! I started working out again to 30 day shred. BFBM is straight cardio - no weights needed - it's intense though, be prepared to sweat!

Good luck - hope you enjoy!
  • I did shred it with weight for 6 weeks, love it! I am getting ripped in 30 and 6 week 6 pack for Christmas too! They are great and exciting workouts!
  • I all every single one of her dvds. I agree with IM3898. They are all different. They are definately intense. I'm starting her new one Extreme Shed and Shred wed. I just finished 2 wks worth of BFBM and NMTZ. Those are killer wrkouts had me pouring sweat. I did the Yoga meltdown one its relaxing but you definately get a wrkout. Shred it w/ weights using a kettlebell really wrks your whole body. Her Biggest Winner series its a mix of cardio and weights that use need a aerobic step and dumbbells. Ripped in 30 is like 30 day shred but its 4 levels bout 30-35 mins each level. Its cardio and dumbbells.
  • I think BFBM is the one that uses no weights, it's just your bodyweight
