Walk Away the Pounds - SEPTEMBER accountability
hey gang I'm still alive and it's September i'm walking as much as I can but haven't been doing Leslie's dvds but a few times a week. I'm still trying to get myself up at 5 but I may need to try walking at the mall during my lunch hour if I don't start sleeping much better. Hoping September is a great month

Hello friends! Sorry I haven't been checking in. I've had a horrible cold this week and very busy at work, too. I took two days off from exercise this week. Did the 2 Mile Power Walk With Friends w/ weights on Monday and today. Not sure if I'll get any done over the weekend. I'll do my best.

I can't say enough good about these workouts. I haven't taken hardly any ibuprophen since I started them 3 mo. ago. Hope I can keep it up. I usually do 2 or 3 mi. in the am and 2 in the pm.

I just starting doing WATP the beginning of this month - I've done them in the past but am just starting to get back into more regular exercise. I am mostly doing the 1 MI walk one to start with - I tried the 2 mile Family Walk with my 7 year old yesterday and it WIPED ME OUT! lol! I made it through to the end but I was too tired to function after. Hopefully by the end of the month, I'll have progressed enough to handle it.
I made a commitment to myself to try for 30/30 this month - so I'm happy to find this thread and the extra accountability.

I did the WATP Cardio Slimdown today. It was just a little bit more intense than the regular 1 mile walk, so that was good. It was through On Demand on cable, and I am not sure if it will still be on there after tomorrow though. Oh well! Hopefully I'll be ready to move to the 2 mile walk pretty soon anyway.

Thanks for the welcome Cathy!
I forgot to update yesterday - I did not do a WATP program, but I spent the day at a water park with my son, so I think I got in my 20 minutes of walking (and then some! lol!)

no WATP tonight but I did a Wii Fit step program - the one you can do while watching another tv show. I love being able to get in my daily exercise but still catch up on some TV too. It's not as good a work out as WATP but I also did a lot of extra running around today at work, so I am happy with today's activity level.

Welcome April, Omai and CarolR.
Had our 4-year old grandson for the Labor Day weekend. I was able to work out each day, but had to listen to his comments. Pretty funny!
Today - 5-Day Slim Down (3 miles)

Hi all! I did the 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk this morning w/ 2# weights. Really had to talk myself into getting out of bed to do it, but glad I did!
