Not many Turbofire threads, so thought I would ask you ladies.
Is Turbofire a bit easier to do than ChaLean Extreme? Do most normally do Turbofire first, get into shape, then attempt Chalean? I am not sure if they are comparable or not, but looking to work my up!
My husband wasn't ready for P90X, so he found Power 90 (which I leaned is P90 without the "X"), then did P90X, so was thinking perhaps Turbofire is the Power 90 and ChaLean is the extreme and should be done afterwards, if that makes any sense.
Or maby I should do his Power 90 to workup to Turbo Fire? I am so confused.

katja Hi and Welcome! This is my understanding. Turbo Fire is a cardio focused program. It has been rounded it out with Core, Ab, Toning, Sculpting, Upper Body, and Lower Body workouts. Chalene Extreme (CLX) is a strength training workout that has some cardio workouts to complete it. Now on the other hand, Turbo Jam was like the beginner program to Turbo Fire. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Diana! Exactly the info I was looking for. I assumed Turbo Jam was just like Turbo Fire, just more dance-based. But if Jam is the introductory program that will get me ready for the Fire, then I'm going to jam.
Thanks again!

katja TF is more intense than TJ. TF also has a lot better music than TJ. TF has a "New To Class" option before each workout. If you have been working out for a while, you may not need TJ. If you haven't worked out on a regular basis, you will probably want to start with TJ, though.

Thanks so much!
I haven't workout out much since I had our first child nearly 5 years ago, except for a week of my husband's Power 90 disks. I got bored, which made me look at Turbo Fire/Chalean.
I will have him order Turbo Jam for me I think, then go from there! Thanks again, Diana. I'm sure I'll be back in the thread in 90 days once ready for Turbo Fire!

Katja You don't have to wait until you get TF to post here. We do a variety of workouts. You will still fit right in. In fact, last week I did a TJ workout. No pressure, though. Join in whenever you want. We will be glad to have you.
