Hi! I have never done any of the Firm dvds but after reading through most of the post would like to try one. What would you recommend for someone 50 pounds overweight? I do use an elliptical or treadmill a couple times a week so I'm not completely out of shape. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Amy

Hello pnklukyduky and Amy,
Amy - I'm also about 50 pounds overweight and I can do most of the workouts without any problems. They have a huge selection. I have seen them at Walmart & Target. You can check out some of the workouts at firmdirect.com. When I do these workouts on a regular basis, I see amazing results. My issue right now is that I LOVE to get out and walk so I've not been dedicating enough time to doing the Firm.
pnklukyduky - I have quite a few systems but the system with the Cardio weights is my favorite.
Today I did a 2 mile walk.

Hi, ladies. Today I did a 2 mile dog walk, Total Body Toner, and Weighted Cardio Gloves workout.
Amy, Total Body Toner and the other "pink" firms (they are newer and have pink cases) seem a bit easier than the earliest firms made (called the Classics). When I started doing them all the time, I only used 3 and 5 lb weights, and I was sore for weeks!!
pnklukyduky - welcome!!
Gettinfit - good job on the walk!

Thanks for the replys. I looked on Amazon at the 500 calorie one because it was mentioned a lot on this thread, but got discouraged by the reviews. There were a lot of good reviews but all the bad ones said it was really hard to do, not because they were out of shape but because the video was done so bad. I will look at Target and Walmart to see what they have. Hopefully I'll be able to find one so I can join in with you guys. Thanks again.

I did Cardio Party today, this video was a lot of fun. I'll walk my 2 dogs separately (have 2 labs they're a handfull lol) later on in the afternoon 30min each.

Good morning everyone,
Chrys - I am so sorry but I missed your post from Sunday. It's great to have you posting again too!
Amy - I don't have that one so I can't give a review but I do have about 60 total. I think my favorite is the TransFIRMation system. I also like the newest one Thin in 30. Does your local library have some that you can check out to try before you buy?
pnklukyduky - Cardio Party is fun. I did it on Sunday.
Yesterday I did a very hilly 3 mile walk. I just want to get out and enjoy the wonderful weather before it gets too hot to walk. My weight is also coming back down. I've dropped about 10 pounds since 4/1.
I hope everyone has a great day!

GettinFit- Wow 60 videos is a lot to choose from I hadn't thought of checking with the library to see if they have any I can try before I buy. Thanks for that tip.
