I started the shred today LV 1 and it went well it wasnt as hard as I expected, I have been doing Jackie Warner's power circuit for the past 3 weeks. I plan on doing Zumba tonight. We will see how sore I am tomorrow
I'm looking forward to finishing up day 20 today (day 10 of level 2). I'm going to take my measurements tonight and see where I'm at, but all of my random waist checks have shown a consistent decrease.
Lynnyloo, I think it's a bit of both. I haven't done level 3 yet (I start tomorrow!) but level 2 is definately more intense than level 1. As opposed to 1, I literally had sweat pouring down my face for 9 out of the 10 days of level 2.
Anywho. I did my measurements today and I'm down 8.75 inches!!!!!!!! I'm glad I'm going on to level 3! I hope to see even more improvement! (I think that's enough exclamation points for now...)
Okay. So I decided to go ahead and skip Level 1 after I gave Level 2 a test run so today will be day 3 in Level 2. Yesterday I rolled out of bed feeling like I totally got my butt kicked which is what I want.
I will be supplementing this workout with 30-45 minutes of elliptical training either every day or every other day, depending on how I feel. Day 1 on Level 2, I could but yesterday I could not so we will see how it goes today.
Done with day 3 of level 3 today. I LOVE/HATE level 3. I've come to realize that the shred is a terrible addiction. I keep telling myself I'm going to take a day off, but it'll get to be evening and I'll get antsy and have to get in my 20 minutes.
Tomorrow begins a new month and I hope my weigh-in will go well. I'm expecting to be about 8 or 9 lbs down.
Well, yesterday was supposed to be day 3 on LV 2 but I could only get up to 15 minutes- felt like my body was telling me to take a break from the workout so I just did an hour on the elliptical instead. Woke up with an awfulllllllllll crick in my neck that has yet to subside. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to complete day 3!
After a 4 day hiatus I finished day 9 level 1. When I started doing pushups I felt this horrible pinch in my lower midsection like something that was supposed to be attatched to my hip came undone.... I couldn't keep going. Anyways, it feels much better now so I'm going to give myself a couple extra days on level 1 before I move to level 2.
I tried to make up for lost time by running 2 miles after the shred today... I'm ready for a nap!
Finished day 4 of level 3 yesterday. I did BFBM today instead of 30ds, because I got it and NMTZ yesterday and was anxious to try it out. I plan on doing NMTZ tomorrow and then finishing up the shred this week!!!
Friday's attempt to do Day 3 Level 2 sucked majorly. Ended up resting on Sat and Sun. I was able to do it successfully today, yay! Followed by 1 hour on the elliptical.
