Hi Tle! Glad you could get the 2 mile walk done!!

I honestly tried to get out of bed this morning to do the 5 mile walk I have. But I just could not get up 15 min. early!! So I did my 3 Mile Boot Camp and called it good.

I honestly do not want to invest any more time into exercise than I already do. That may be childish but I am just not one of those people who spends all of their time exercising. I really think it might make me feel resentful and actually be a negative thing for me. My time spent exercising right now is perfect for me and I love it.

I did look on Amazon last night and found a 10# weighted vest that I may buy. It is $18 and might be a good way to pump up my workouts. Also thinking of buying the Walk Away Your Waistline DVD by Leslie, too.

Welcome Tle.

Annie - I understand how you feel about exercising. I am one of those people that work out everyday. I am not obsessive about it, but it is part of my life now. I need to lose weight in order to get healthy and the one thing I can control is what I put in my mouth and how much I work it off. I do like to try new things and gadgets to make exercise fun, and not a daily chore. I get bored easily doing the same thing everyday so I like to mix it up a bit.

I do like the Walk Away Your Waistline. It comes with an AB Belt that I have also used hung over a bed post for strength training.

Last Night - LS Pilates, weights, crunches and took 2.5 mile walk at lunch (in the rain - do I get extra points for that?).

Have a great day everyone.....

Hey gang

I did 2 miles this morning. I used the Heart Healthy Walk.

Annie - I'm thinking that if I had back problems (or had them in the past) I would stick with the 2 lb weighted belt and not anymore. It does get heavy after walking for awhile. And about those workouts at exercisetv, they may end up on dvd shortly. sometimes they do workouts as downloads first and then they eventually put them on dvd to buy.

hope everybody has a great day!

Annie - I didn't read what you said about the weighted vest before I posted. I would think a 10 lb vest would be fine - the weight would be distributed more evenly, I just wouldn't add more than 2 lbs around my waist (lower back) if I had had back problems. but that is just me... I think the vest will be fine, and you'll certainly know if it works for you.

2 mile fat burn, resistance bands.

I am reading my idet/health related books on the break. One is Primal Blueprint. I like his approach to exercise which mirrors my choices and results.

1 mile slim down, 2 min boosted walk, resistance bands, ready for New Year's Eve. It's hard to believe, but I really am weight and energy level wise.
