I thought that too, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the price was competitive with Academy/Sports Authority.

I mile Slim Down, resistance bands, 45 minutes riding/posting, moving tack around. Great weather: cloudy, cool, breezy.

2 mile, 30 min. walk with Leslie and the gang for me this morning AND I took a leisurely stroll to the park with my younger son and our dog, Tootsie, last night. It was such a mild evening. A welcome relief from the hot and humid and hazy days we've had recently.

I caught the cold DH had last week, coupled with the plumber coming this morning early, no exercise today. I missed it and still like logging in, maintaining my habit of exercise has many facets to it.

Annie- The cooler weather is a welcome relief.

Head cold intensified, no exercising, no appetite. I am glad to know what are good food choices for me (low cal/carb) whether I am able to exercise or not and still maintain my loss. I do know when I get better, WATP will have a challenge.

Tomorrow we are going to Sea World. Quite a bit of walking then.

Last night I did the 3 mile bootcamp and took a 2.5 mile walk during lunch hour. I also lifted some weights later in the evening. I boosted the weights up a bit and I am feeling a little sore today.

I forgot to add: HAPPY FALL!

You would not know it is the first day of fall around here. It will be in the 80s today and the 90s by the weekend.

Karen-I've always wanted to visit SA and see Sea World. Have fun! Hope the cold is gone soon.

Toonses-I know what you mean about the lack of fall temperatures. It is slowly cooling down here, one degree at at time. Good job on thr weights.

I am so weird. Every time I do the 3 mile Boot Camp (like this morning), I always have a "good" soreness in my thighs from those da*n lunges. I like feeling it when I sit in a certain position or am climbing stairs. It's a reminder of the good things I am doing for myself and my body.

Did my 2 mile classic walk again today. I want to finish out the week with this and then mix it up a bit next week.

Got interrupted about 8-9 min into the work out.

My son 29 year old son showed up to pick up his mail. He doesn't live here, just had his mail delivered here since he screwed up his po box. He left me a nasty message on face book (private, only I could read). So I confronted him about it and talked for about 30 min.

Guess I am having trouble having relationships with my adult children. I have 3 of them. I can't please any of them.

Just downloaded a book off the net called. Letting go of our adult children. Will read and see if it helps me any.

Sorry for the vent. I did go back and finish my work out.

Tonight I did the 3-mile bootcamp, did some crunches and plan on doing a bit of yoga before I go to bed. I had a very work-related stressful day and need to unwind.

I also took a nice 2.5 mile during lunch hour. That did not help much.

Annie - Well we thought fall was going to start here. Looks like we will be in the 100s this weekend and next week will be hot as well. What the heck! I am ready for some cool weather. At least the mornings and evenings are cool now.

I walked all over Sea World today (staff misdirected us on a couple of occasions). I am counting this easily as 2 miles. And under the influence of cold meds too. I miss my WATP. A year ago I didn't even know about it:-)
