I'm here! Thanks for asking after me, Cathy! I am in the process of buying a house! (I post in the 40-somethings chat thread, too.) Exciting and scary and stressful. BUT, I have been doing my exercise!! Even over the weekend I worked in a couple of sessions. I actually did 4 miles of the 5 mile Fat Burning DVD. This stress is testing my new lifestyle and so far I am passing the test.

Leann-My Mom walked me down the aisle when I got married. I couldn't think of anyone who deserved the honor more than her. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Did the 3 mile Boot Camp w/ bands this morning.

/Hey Ladies!

Thanks for the welcome

I did the 3 mile walk with the belt last night. Working late today, but will make a strong effort to walk after work.

Does anyone have the "express" videos? Sometimes during the week, I only have half an hour to work out... I wonder if the express means that one can do more miles in less time?

Have a great day!

Cathy,
You bet!!! I did all 3 actually. My dd woke up shortly before I hit the 2nd mile. I was going to stop at 2 but got a 2nd wind and asked her should I go on, she said yes mom. I said ok "you be my coach" and she hopped off the couch and started with me and made sure I got switched to next movement on time.

Hi all....I recently bought the Ultimate Collection, and I've done the 2 mile, 3 mile, and even the 4 mile walks so far! Really worked up a sweat.

Did the 3 mile Boot Camp w/ bands this morning. I felt a little stiff and out of breath, don't know why, but kept on going.

So good to see all the new faces! Welcome back, Karen!!

All ready to start my 3 mile Walk now that my laundry was all done in the dryer. I had all my workout clothes in there.
Will see if I make the 3rd mile. But any is good while I build this to a habit.

Hi everyone.

I did exercise yesterday. Did my 1 mile with a 1/4 mile added on the treadmill. It focused on my abs.
Then today I did a 1 mile power walk with 1/4 mile added on the treadmill.

Lost another pound. Can't wait until I get a ticker.

Today is fried catfish at the local restaurant and I am trying to talk myself out of going or maybe just ordering a kids plate.

Hi! I love Leslie Sansone's videos. Right now, I'm alternating Turbo Jam with one of my walking dvds. I have the Walk Away the Pounds 1, 2, 3 mile set; Express 3 Mile Advanced walk; Walk & Kick; and Walk & Jog. Today I did the 2 mile, and wow! I was challenged. Needless to say Turbo Jam is really challenging for me, too. I'm really hoping to build up the endurance to do Turbo Fire! I have a lot of weight to lose.

Thanks for the motivating thread!
