Talking Hi Everyone!

I started the 30 day shred today and I hope to get great results from it. So I'm guessing we do Level 1 for the first week,Level 2 for the second and level 3 for the last week? I'm just hoping I don't get bored doing the same workout for 7 days straight but from all the good reviews it's worth a try! Hope everyone is having a good day!

It's 10 days on each level, hence the name 30 day shred

Hi, I started the 30 day shred yesterday on level 1. I'm also going to incorporate at least 30 minutes of cardio every day too. From all the posts I see that people aren't using much weight, but toning up...either one would make me happy. :-0 Best of luck to eveyone on their journey to a fitter you. :-0 Michelle

L1D5 for me! Since I dont have free weights I've been using exercise bands, but I'm going to buy some light handweights to start Level 2 next week. I want to look as good as I can for my soldier when he comes home from AIT in 30 days! (actually more like 36, so I have a little extra wiggle room, tee hee)
Does anyone experience more advancement in one area than another? For example, the cardio on Level 1 is way too easy for me, but the first round of weights (pushups/squat presses) still have me cussing!

Niki, I'm the same way...cardio is easy, but the pushups kick my butt! They always have. My legs are a little sore from the lunges too. I'm going to go get some weights at walmart tomorrow. I haven't been using anything the past 3 days.

Hehehe, I haven't been able to get off my knees for the pushups. One of these days....I might start doing high knees instead of butt kicks, maybe that will help

Yeah, I can only to the pushups on my knees too. Another problem I have is the jumping jacks (it makes me want to pee...my bladder is weak from having kids. OK, sorry TMI!!!) So, I either run in place or hop around ...my kids just laugh at me, but I figure that at least I'm getting my heart rate up.

I run in place, and do the upper part of the jumping jacks at the same time. I see no need to place strain on my knees!

That's a great idea! I'm going to try it tonight...doing the video with my daughter in 10 minutes. Also, picked up some weights so we are going to use those as well.

30 day shred kills me. But it's addicting. I just get tired of Jillian's voice lol. But every day I wake up feeling like I rode a horse.

L1D1 complete. Harder than I thought a 20 min workout would be.....I am glad! I bought a dvd for 15 dollars once and it was not good, so the 9 I spent on this was well worth it......I am also excited to see what will be changed in 30 days!
