Default Walk Away the Pounds - February Daily Check In

HEY WALKING BUDDIES!

Today is the beginning of a new week and a new month. I'm hoping to stay well in February and get much more walking done then I did in January

one for every 5 lbs lost since finally getting treatment in 2004 for my previously undiagnosed thyroid problem. I take 5 grains Armour Thyroid daily to treat my low thyroid symptoms and I can finally say that I feel good!!!!!

This morning I did 3 miles I used the Walk Your Belly Flat dvd which I really like. I like the walking routine and the Walk Clock that counts down the time in each mile.

What's everybody else doing today?

Hey Cathy -

Good job on the Walk Your Belly Flat! This month I am gonna try to do 60 miles and hopefully I will get more done than that. Will be working out after work today. But yesterday I had too much motivation i did 4 miles of WATP Fat Burning, 2 miles on the bike and 30 minutes of a workout video. I was exhausted needless to say but finally the scales a moving YAHHHH!!!

Thanks Cathy , I am paying for it today. My calves are a bit sore, so I only did 2 miles and then one mile on the bike. Had to get my scale to move somehow I needed something to make the scale move.

Good Morning Gang

I did 2 miles this morning. I used the Power Walk with Friends using the soft 2 lb hand weights in each hand. It's good stuff

Hey Cathy -

Im beginning to think its just you and I on this board this month lol. Good job on the Power Walk. I did two miles of the fat burning one and then two miles on the bike so far. Oh sometimes shes tooo darn peppy in the morning for me. Like some of her sayings like "Power Walk....Walk Power Walk" and "Lets go Lets Go!!" lol I wish I had part of her energy!

I was thinking that same thing. I am beginning to think that people are walking away from us lol How rude!!!
Glad to see you worked out this morning. I didnt work out last night had no motivation besides I need to take a day off. Ive been working out almost every day but will be working out today.
We need our peeps to come back to us over here!

Hi Cathyxxx and Girly 2010,
I forgot where I posted so I found you again. I don't work out every day but I will come and post when I do. WTG on the workouts you 2!!! I need to find some other tapes I only have WATP 1/2/3 mile. The ones you are describing sound fun. I would also love to see the miles counting down.
On Monday I did the 2 mile, Tue I worked out with the Wii, and Wed I did the 3 mile. Tomorrow I am going outside for my walk, I will try to motivate myself to do the 2 or 3 mile today while doing laundry

I did 1 mile yesterday and 2 miles today. I am out of shape and starting really slowly. I used the WATP express super challenge.

Hi everyone and Im back to working out and back to WATP! Lol!

Walks for the week:
Mon: Exercise TV 1 Mile (gotta love On Demand!)
Tues: 1 Mile Quick Start Workout (On Demand)
Wed: 1 Mile Express with Stretchie
Thurs: no walk
Fri: 1 Mile Get Up and Get Started with 2 lb hand weights
Sat: Exercise TV 2 Mile

Im following the walks per day outlined in Leslie's WATP book, hopefully this will give me more structure with my walks to stay on track.

Hey glad to see we got some company finally on this post. Good job on all the walking! Today I did the 2 mile brisk walk and I got a new workout video. The new turbo tae bo. Yeah I made it 13 minutes lol and he said they were just finishing up warm ups and I was dying!!!!!

Anybody got big plans for superbowl tomorrow???

I'll join. I love WATP. That is how I lost a lot of weight before. But then I quit and started eating bad again and so the story goes. My dh and I are actually doing it together. We did 3 miles yesterday. We did the 30 day shred today. Were trying to switch off and on. I am going to try and do some Wii Fit tonight too, while they are watching the Super Bowl.
