Wow this DVD sounds great. Do you need anything besides the DVD? Like weights or a machine or anything?

It is great. If you are looking for something that gets results this is a good option. Twenty minutes of intensity and you really feel the workout. she ain't no joke!!

I think so...I usually fast forward through all that intro, so I'll have to check next time. They also have a Biggest Loser Strength dvd, I don't have that one.

Hand held weights are used. Jillian doesn't specify what poundage she uses...they look like 3 or 5 pound dumbbells. If using weights is just too much, then one should not use them at first, one should gradually work up to it. And she doesn't say what the cap on weights should be. I personally haven't gone over 5 pounds. Some people on the 30 Day Shred threads here use 8 pounds for some of the exercises.

I'm nearly positive it is. I have Cardio Max and it is a arse kicker! The ever adorable Bob kicks your butt in Level 1 and should there be anything left Jillian takes over at Leve 2. Level 2 with her is the longest 10 minutes, but it's fun! Her energy is contaigous (sp)!! I add them after 30DS, sometimes just level 1 sometimes levels 1 and 2, and am usually gargling my heart by the end of it! Feels wonderful!!!

I literally JUST bought this at Target and it was on sale for $9 (sad to see it's at CostCo for $7.99! I may check it out!).

I also got The Biggest Loser Boot Camp Workout which features Bob.

So, I have both Jillian and Bob to yell at and motivate me!!! I am excited!!!

Passionista-The Boot Camp Workout-does it require any extra equipment, more than dumbells?

It also looks like they show segments of Power Scupt too.

Cardio Max Level 1 is 20min with hottie Bob and Level 2 10min with Jillian Level 3 10 min with the annoying Kim.

The energy and personality that Bob and Jillian have is contagious! I DEFINATELY recomend these two dvd's.

I'm getting better because I can make it through each level 1 circuit without falling out. I save the falling out til the workout is over. I'm loving it.

Damn, just did workout 1 again for the second time. Do you guys do it everyday? I had to take a day in between to rest. I am soooo sore! I'm scared for workout 3 LOL.

Today was day 7 of Level 1 (30DS) so three more days left till L2. I'm better but was worried I needed to be able to do everything perfectly and without modifications (like Natalie) before going to L2. I looked ahead at L2 and there are still modifications for poor wretches like me and it looks tough but not like it'll kill me too much worse than I already am. I'd much rather do a faster workout for a shorter period of time everyday than a longer one 3X/wk.

I'm thinking I'll get the cardio max and power sculpt to do after the 30DS is over. They have levels of progression too don't they? Do you do them simultaneously?

I also just completed Day 7, but I alternate between the levels because I find level 1 too easy, especially the cardio. But the ab portion KILLS me. I really need to work on my core.

Sorry, just wanted to add my two cents.

No sorries needed! The cardio is tough on me but it's all relative. You are obviously already in much better shape then me, lol! I get through all the abs but the last circuit of bicycles is killer. Starting level 2 tomorrow.

I noticed in Jillians dvd's that she mentions that we may not be as flexible as "the girls". Seriously, LOL, is ANYONE as flexible as her girls? Especially in BFBM and NMTZ her girl Saleemah? That girls flexiblilty is amazing!
