hey ladies. I totally hate yoga and break it up into 45 minutes otherwise I get pissed at how long it is!

I just started lean too. I think I need more cardio to burn fat

That's what I was thinking, too. I like the classic routine, but I didn't really feel like I was losing fat, but did feel some extra muscle. Good luck!!

So this is what I'm thinking. I'm gonna try to go for 45-60 min next week in Yoga X, and then gradually increase the time.

There's a new welcome byproduct that comes from p90x. I find that I'm not that hungry in general. This might go away as times goes on, but right now, I find that I don't want to eat so much, because the moves seem to make my belly full of gas. hahahaha That's the best way I know to describe it!

I just got my DVDs, but can someone explain the difference between the three versions please? (lean, classic, strength)

I am on week 5!

blackbeltchica19 Lean has more cardio and is more for weight loss, classic is more for building muscle and toning and doubles is just that DOUBLES

Sun,

Which program are you on? And what results have you so far?

I haven't seen much in terms of weight loss or sizes going down, but I feel tighter. hahaha Dirty!

I started it on Monday. Glad to see everyone else hates yoga too. I absolutely love these workouts... except yoga. Everyone else seems to loooooove yoga, but maybe it's just because they haven't done yoga X. Haha. I did just push through it and got through the entire thing, but it was rough.

AllisonR

I am now on lean but I did classic for the first month and I lost 4 lbs and one inch off my waist. More muscle for sure and definetly tigher muscles over all.

spikedpunch yeah I love yoga normally...but yogaX is so annoyingly long. I have to Psych myself up to do it. And it takes me all day..cuz i am constantly stopping to do something. Hope you have a great first month~!

Yeah, I talked to my associate teacher, who's really fit, about P90X. Even her, whose teachable is Phys Ed, said she has to turn it off at 45 min, because it gets too intense and she has two little ones to take care.

Anyway, I'm starting my second week of P90X. Before I was alternating with 30 DS. Now I'm trying to stay more consistent with this program, and only on the days when I don't have any time at all, I'll do the Ab Ripper X or one level of 30 DS.

Am I the only one who loves the yoga!? It's not really that long, if you do the the strength exercises + Ab Ripper it's only 15 minutes longer than that, and once you get past the cardio part it feels so good!

Haha I'm so glad that you like it! I just get upset doing it for some reason, not because I'm not flexible. I'm actually quite the opposite, but I don't like holding the poses. And since yoga is supposed to be relaxing, I'm just going to go through the video, until I get angry. That's my cue to stop. LOL

I'm just starting week 6 on the classic route. There's definitely some tone on my biceps, thighs, and back. My waist is a tiny bit slimmer. I haven't weighed myself or measured myself since I started. Don't want to get discourage, especially since I did some damage with food on week 3 and 4. Some of my clothes is fitting a bit looser and that keeps me going. I am not as hungry as I use to get and feel better overall. I take a protein shake after the strength training workout and it helps with the recovery (got it at Costco). Just like Tony says, "Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was your body". Just keep at it ladies, we can do it!

I just started yesterday on the classic program but I also do at least one hour on the treadmill on top of that to lose more weight.
