Default Anybody try the Kettlebell Goddess Workout?

Anybody try the Kettlebell Goddess Workout? I have it, did 1 of the workouts twice. It's OK... there's just no music and all you hear (at least in the upper body workout) is their breathing and panting!!

Yes, the film production is very cheap but it is very effective I love kettlebells but I rarely use my kettlebell videos, I just do my own kettlebell routines.

I think once I get the moves down I will follow your lead, nelie. I just knew I wanted to kettebell but then had no clue how to. It seems like the instruction is good in the video but like you said, the film production is CHEAP!

The workouts in The Goddess are AWESOME! Yes, there is no music in the background, but it will teach you just about everything you need to know to get an effective workout with kettlebells!

Keep up your hard work Sawa! That video will help you reach your goals faster! Also- I would recommend you get a little bit heavier bell- like a 14 or even 18. Don't be afraid of the weight- it will help you to me more efficient and actually do the exercises properly.

Good Luck!

Oh I didn't see that you posted this! I'd recommend you go to at least 15 lbs. Kettlebells really work your large muscles.

It is a traditional russian weight training tool.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kettlebell

Oh and I whipped out my book by Pavel (who is considered the authority on kettlebells in America). For the average woman, he recommends starting with 18 lbs, for a strong woman (who has been working with weights), he recommends starting with 26 lbs.

I personally started with 15 lb because kettlebells made me a little nervous but realized quickly that it was too light and used 20 lbs but now I mostly use 25 and a 35 lb kettlebell. I will also sometimes use a 45 lb kettlebell for 2 hand swings.
