Default Slim in 6. Help, please!!

Hey out there!

I am ready to really push my body and see what it can do. I know I won't have 6 pack abs in 6 weeks BUT I would like to see some muscle definition.

I wanted to do the Slim in 6 Series then maybe graduate to another program...ChaLean Extreme and then so on.

Anyone, do this program and have great results OR not so great results ??

I heard it may be boring....

Last but not least, is it worth the $60.00 bucks. Please, respond because I want to decide on a program this weekend so I can get it in the mail and start next weekend. Yeah me!!!

THANKS!!!

I found it tremendously boring it. I still have it and have triedn 4 times but can only last to week 3 before I totally lose motivation.

I used it 5 years ago before my wedding [I was highly motivated] and it helped tone my body. I have tried to use it again and I can't get into it. I agree with the other posters that it is boring!

I personally got great results from slim in 6. I didn't do the program over 6 weeks, though, it was more like 4 months! I was very out of shape when I began, and I couldn't even come close to being able to complete start it up after only one week. I lost about 40 pounds and went from a size 16-18 to a comfortable 8-10. A few of my friends even ordered the program after seeing my results. However, like leelee, i was highly motivated, because it definately is boring! I dont know that I could go through it again.... It does work though.

If you have not already bought it, before you spend the $60, there is a new Slim in 6 coming out in the next month or 2. The series was refilmed so it should have a more updated, less bland feel and better music. It should be the same program/rotation though.

I don't know if it works or not, the diet part always gets in the way of my goals. the workouts seemed fine to me, I like basic exercises that I don't have to think much, and I didn't mind the same workout everyday because I didn't have to learn any new steps or anything, I could listen to my own music and not worry about listening to cues. I guess it's too boring for some.

Or if you don't want to wait for the new version to be released, see if you can find it on Ebay.

I found Power 90 (also Beachbody) on Ebay for $12. I'm 3.5 weeks into level one and 5 lbs lost. I'm not going to do it for the full 90 days(I'm planning to finish the 4th week, then switch to the Firm for 4 weeks, before doing the second level of Power 90-probably for 4 weeks), but I've enjoyed it so far. And getting it for a fraction of the price made me really happy.

Good luck!

Thanks all! I will do more searching. If I cant find the Slim in 6 for super cheap then I will maybe look for Power 90. I would be interested in trying that as well. If I can get the Power 90 for cheap I will try it. I don't want to jump into something like P90X or Insanity just yet!!!

My friend started doing the Slim in 6 about 6 weeks ago now and there's really no difference, she doesn't talk about it anymore and it didn't do much for her.

I was able to look up the videos on Youtube and I did it on there myself. It definitely does not seem worth the price they are selling it for at all !!! Just go youtube the exercises.

I have used slim in six and for me it did alot.... I lost 2, almost 3 dress sizes and about 17 pounds.... of course I was out of shape so I only had up to go... I used to play my own music (you can listen to theirs or have it turned off).. It is repetitive but does really work if you will stick to it...

I lasted about 3 weeks and was able to lose 10 pounds combined with diet. But of course I lost motivation and gained the weight back. I'm attempting it again and will start my second week on January 21, but I only plan to use it 4 weeks so that I can be in slightly better shape before I hopefully start Chalean Extreme.

I've had slim in 6 for years. When i first ordered it, I made it thru a week and a half (about 9-10 workouts) and lost 8 pounds (starting weight 215). It definitely DOES work. and you notice your waist getting smaller right away. i just re-ordered the new system. It can get repetitive, so I plan to listen to headphones while doing it. Hopefully I can commit to the full 6 weeks this time

I am 2 days away from finishing slim in 6. It did take me 7 weeks though. I see a lot of toning and muscle definition, especially in my biceps, my boyfriend thinks i'm getting buff. There are follow ups to slim in 6, like the slim series and the slim express series. I'm looking forward to starting them on Monday. Hoping it helps me fit into a bikini soon

IMHO, I think it's worth the money. You do the last video (Burn it up) for the last 4 weeks, it's an hour long, 6 days a week. It can get a tiny bit monotonous, but if you're committed to finishing it, you can do it. I am looking forward to doing another video.

There are a lot of squats and lunges, so if you have knee problems, you might want to try something else. Hope that helps.
