I totally agree. Kinda similar, I always push myself the hardest the last cardio section of the workout because I know I'll be done and don't have to last another 20 minutes!

I'm about to start day 4, level 1 still. And I feel so good already, I'm actually looking forward to the routine, well more so the feeling after I finish!
I think I'm going to go with a new level every ten days.

i am in love with this program. i'm taking a day off today for no particular reason, other than i don't want to burn out. i don't take measurements until sundays, but all day i have been feeling like my stomach is trimmer - WOOHOO!

So I just finished day 4 of level 2. Each day I've been able to do less and less when it comes to the upper body strength.
I've reduced my weights from 5 to 3 pounds on several of the exercises, and I still can't do it all the way through. So I throw in a few bicep curls as a rest and continue with the exercise.
Is anyone else having this issue? I know my muscles are tired from the previous day (I do 30DS 6 days in a row 1 day off), but I'm afraid I won't make progress.

It's soooooo hot today, so I'm waiting to do my day 4 when it gets dark out.
I hope I wont be really tired then.

Pardon me, but can I crash this thread briefly with a question?
I want to try the 30-Day Shred. But here's the deal. I live in a very small New York-area apartment. I do not have a lot of floor space. I've got room for a yoga mat & a few feet on either side. But I don't have a wide open central exercise studio space, if you know what I mean. Highly choreographed aerobics videos with grapevines & etc. aren't very doable for me at home.
Can someone help me out & let me know how much room you need to do Jillian's routines? It would be much appreciated. Much as I admire Jillian, I don't want to spend $ for a DVD I won't use.

No problem! My living room is long and narrow, so I don't have a lot of space. If you have enough room for a yoga mat, you should be fine. The space I use is about 5 x 6 feet, but I don't use all of it. Basically, if you can stretch out into a push-up position, you're fine.
Good luck, it's a lot of work, but I think it's worth it!Congrats on reaching your goal!

Thanks so much, Festivus. I'm going to get this DVD next time I'm out shopping.
It feels good to reach goal, but I did it mainly through a lot of cardio work. I would like a routine that is more balanced. From what I've heard, 30-Day Shred is much more balanced & I could alternate between doing it & my cardio work.
Also, if you don't need a lot of floor space, I could take it with me on business trips, put it into my laptop & do it in my hotel room if I can't get to the hotel gym or if the hotel does not have a gym.

Saef - I'm glad you are going to go for it! Amazon has the dvd for 8.99, I'm not sure you will find it cheaper anywhere else!
