Default Zumba

I saw an infomercial for a PRICEY set of Zumba dvds and a fitness plan last night. I really think Zumba would be great for me since I loathe weight training, but I'm not willing to pay $60.

Anyone know of any good and effective Zumba programs?

hmm i downloaded a Zumba workout video online..but it was in Spanish and i deleted it. Just an at home one.

I tried my first Zumba class at my gym last week and I loved it. Some of the steps were a bit hard but I think that after a while I'll get the hang out it.

I don't know of any other way to do it without buying the DVDs, other than finding a local Zumba class. You might find one on ebay for a bargain.

Btw, zumba is FUN! I have the DVDs, we reviewed them some time ago.

I just visited Amazon and searched for Zumba and Zumba is there, but a lot of other exercise DVDs appeared in the search results that are similar but not the same, and cost a lot less.

I have the Zumba DVDs and I really enjoy them.
I also like the "Latin" style dance videos. Some that I like are:
"Dance Off The Inches - Sizzling Salsa"
"10 Minute Solution - Fat Blasting Latin Dance Mix"
"Crunch - Latin Rhythms - Fast Blasting Dance"

You can find all of the above at half.com for less than $10.

Default so fun

I love ZUmba. I take fitness classes at my local Ymca. It is so fun and they say you burn 1000 calories per hour of zumba. It's such a good time!

I am a Zumba convert. I first bought the DVD's on ebay, but really like going to class much better. The official Zumba website has all the classes listed for your local area.

It does seem like there can be some differences between instructors. Some are high energy, mix hip hop with the Latin moves, and do their own choreography. Others follow routines that come from their instructor videos.

I can work with either, but really enjoy my instructor who uses popular tunes and mixes hip hop with Latin. The hour blows by.

I really enjoyed Zumba. I bought the DVD set, because I'm to chicken to get infront of people and dance. But I love to dance! I think it's a good change of pace to workout to, but I made the mistake of following their w/o program that came with it and used it for several weeks and didn't lose a pound. Which of course was a huge let down and I quit altogether w/ my w/o's. But now I'm back at it and using it as a once a week thing or when I really just want to have fun with my w/o.
