EveLHaelf- enjoy, you will love it!

I do agree the push phase is great, you are taken out of your comfort zone, but since it's only 6-8 reps it's so doable!! Starting my 2nd week on push.

I finished 90 days of CLX and I went back to the Push month as of this past Monday, since it's my favorite. I'm determined to lift even heavier than the first time. Sometimes I pick up the weights and I think, am I crazy?? I can't do this! But I end up doing just fine and actually I could probably lift even heavier! I think Chalene is really motivating and there's something about her that makes you WANT to lift heavier. It's like I feel guilty that she says I can do it, and I don't try hard enough! LOL

I'm waiting for Insanity to arrive but I feel like I got scammed on eBay even though the seller had good ratings. I guess I'll wait it out and see what happens. That's what I get for trying to get a better deal. But in the meantime at least I still have Chalene.

well this wk I had to switch the days up a lot. I did Burn 1 and 2 Mon Tues then Back to back Cardio and tomorrow morning before I go see New Moon I will finish up with Burn 3. I kind of like the idea of having the wknd free of videos and I can set my longer runs for those days. So I might start doing that. Lift every other day and cardio/interval on opposite days. This program is great. Although I dont think the scale is showing me anything. I think Ive lost an 1/2 inch or so from different spots

Hope it all works out for you, so hard to know, if you should trust. Yes I think Chalene is great, and I also LOVE the break down, just when you think that's all I can give, she asks for just 3 more, super slow....my muscles are twitching and the sweat is just dripping off of me...LOVE IT!!!!

Be patient, losing those 1/2 inches, awesome too!! That scale will catch up! Enjoy your Movie

Hello everyone. I'm on Day 15 and already starting to see some results. A skirt that only a month ago I could barely squeeze into is loose! And the three pairs of jeans I spent a fortune on the last time I was in the States are all now too big, but that's a good problem to have.

I'm really enjoying the program, though I HATE the push ups. I can't wait to have the body I used to have!

Amazonian -- I'm happy for you! That's so great!

I kinda sorta hate the push-ups too. HOWEVER I'm in the third month and I'm kind of starting to like them just because they are a GREAT gauge for how much stronger I've gotten. It's like... hey, I'm strong enough now to do push-ups! I couldn't do this at all before! Maybe you'll experience the same thing.

I've finished week 2 of the burn phase of CLX, and I already feel stronger! I've noticed that burn circuit 1 my second time around, it was easier to lift, and I have lifted heavier in every exercise in burn circuit three. I can definitely feel my body reacting to this, and I love it. However, along with my strength increasing, my appetite has increased enormously as well!! I feel like i am ALWAYS hungry now, and the worst part is, my sweet tooth has been ignited like no other. Unfortunately, even though I am putting all this effort into my workouts, I haven't ben putting as much into my diet, and i know that what i eat is half the battle. However, it is the start of a new week, and I started my day off right (granola, yogurt, blueberries, and strawberries), so i'm hoping I continue with the good meal plan. Thanksgiving is this week though...so let's see how that battle goes. The most important thing: I FEEL GREAT! And in the end, that's all that matters!



KEEP ROCKING IT! I cannot wait to see my results at the end of thirty days!

I was just going to vent about the same problem i am always hungry for SWEETS also. I dont understand how i can do so well really 90% perfect monday thru Thursday then come the weekends i cant even take in as much water as i should and i eat sore off poorly. I completely fall off. i still work out but i know thats whats stopping me from reaching my goals any advice girls????????? I dont get it! i know my problem yet i cant seem to be able to FIX IT.

Try the "Chicks in Control" forum -- there's a lot of support there for overeating, overcoming your sweet tooth, etc. It's helped me a lot because I am sometimes a binge-eater.

If you can do any better on your diet I would strongly encourage you to DO IT. I am nearly to the end of 90 days and while I can see some difference, I haven't seen totally awesome results -- because I know for a long time I was overeating after my CLX workouts. If you want to see great results you are GOING to have to work on your eating too.

After my workouts I make a point to drink a protein shake -- water (or a little milk), vanilla protein powder and some fruit, throw it in a blender, add a little sugar if necessary. It really helps cut down on the hunger pangs and the protein keeps my muscles from feeling as sore afterward. Maybe that would work for you too?

^^^^ I do the same thing with my protein powder. For the last 2wks Ive been using beneprotein 2scoops after my workouts. My muscles feel great
So this is my last wk of burn!!! I havent missed a beat with this program. I really do enjoy my workouts. I was able to lift a lot heavier this wk. I feel and look stronger definitely. My clothes are already fitting great and Ive been able to get into some skinny jeans I tossed in the back of the closet a yr ago. 2 more months and I will be rocking those jeans again in public...Go ChaLean!! A little nervous about Thanksgiving but who isnt???

thanks for the tips ladies! as far as the protein shakes go, are you ladies using the beachbody brand or are you using another brand? I keep hearing that a protein shake is a great meal replacement as well as a great way to cut down on hunger pains, but i've already put a lot of money into CLX (the DVDS, the weights, etc.), and i don't know how I feel about spending $60 for a month's supply of protein powder, and on top of it, waiting for it to arrive. What do you ladies suggest?

I use Aria protein powder -- it's labeled as a "woman's protein" (whatever that means -- I think it has some calcium added). It was only $10 for a big container that lasts me a few weeks. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it, though, because it doesn't dissolve very well and, well, chunks of protein powder just taste bad. :P I'd love to hear any other brand suggestions. I've never tried the Beachbody stuff so I don't know how it is.

I've tried the Biggest Loser Brand of Whey Protein Power, it has alot of added fiber, and dissolves very well. I make a very yummy shake, 1scoop powder, 1cup almond or skim milk and 1cup frozen berries, I put all ingred in blender, and makes a very thick shake, almost like a frozen treat, I sometimes make the shake with choc flavor powder, my favorite.
