Tae Bo? Which DVDs to start?

Have heard such good things about the Tae Bo workouts and am eager to give them a go. Checked out the website, but even that was confusing. I just want a good basic intro video that will get me started and give me a darn good workout.

Am limited to what Amazon sells and am I'm overseas, so I don't have the option of borrowing from the library to give his DVDs a test drive.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I LOVE Tae Bo!
I started with these:
Tae-Bo Workout (4 Pack: Basic, Instructional, Advanced, 8-minute Workout) (1999)
But, I watched the instructional one once. You don't really need it. And I don't know if I ever did the 8-min. workout. So if you could just get the basic and advanced, I would.

Then I got this one:
Tae Bo II Get Ripped Complete 6 workouts 2 DVDs Billy Blanks
It's great. 6 workouts. 30-60 minutes each.

I'm thinking about getting some more, but not sure. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask more questions!

I love his AB Bootcamp. It took awhile before I could do it start to finish, but in the meantime I just did what I could. Maybe you could rent some of his DVD's to give it try?

I just got Celebrity Fit Cardio, I think it's a good one to start with because it goes through each move slowly, then at full speed. It wasn't too hard to catch on to, there are a couple moves that might take a bit of practice, but overall it was a good beginning workout.

Billy Banks Bootcamp set with the resistence bands. It has a beginner, advanced and ab. I'm still working my way to advanced because the other two keep me more than occupied.

love them!

There are many beginner workouts. Of course you should start with the instructional workouts first. But if you are looking to be introduced to his resistance bands and bootcamp workouts...Basic Bootcamp is pretty good. Slower paced, shows all the moves he does in the other bootcamp dvd's. It is actually easier than the regular first bootcamp dvd.

I have a wide variety of the tae bo vids I really like the 8min workout one. Its a good workout and only 8mins. Sometimes I don't have time to do 30-60mins and he makes sure to pack in the effective moves into the 8mins! They really aren't hard to do. I watch all my work out vids before I even attempt a move so I knew what i was getting into.

I bought Tae Bo Amped recently... I LOVE IT. I've been a Billy fan for years..his work outs are intense and I feel like I'm accomplishing something.

It might sound odd, but I just got my hands on the Tae Bo Postnatal Power dvd and have been recommending it to EVERYONE -- whether they've ever had kids or not. I even know some guys who have used it just to get the basics down about Tae Bo and they've said it's ended up being a good workout for them, too. Billy's daughter Shellie is the one who leads it and she's awesome!

if i had to pick a set of tae bo dvds that was probably alot easier to start with then i would suggest the 'capture the power 2004 'collection i had the set of 4,it started with foundation which was the instructional dvd-i remember it being quite a workout in it's own right, then there was power, energy, strength and also an 8min dvd.that set also came with the tae bo balls for added resistance.

anyway i found that set of dvds to be alot easier than many other tae bo dvds out there.

good luck!
