1 mile is great if you're new to exercise.

I did Walk & Kick this morning

Just finished 2 Mile High Calorie Burn with 3lb weights for my evening workout.

KO: any of the 1 mile's from Leslie would be great for a super beginner!

MominWI: congrats on your pregnancy! All 3 of the main Express workouts use the stretchie. I'm not quite sure why they say the 4 mile Supper Challenge is part of the Express series, since it doesn't, but they're all great workouts.

There's a brand new 3 mile (just released this week) that uses weights, if you like that. It's called "3 Mile Weight Loss Walk". It's not for sale on Leslie's site (not sure why), but collage and amazon have it and I've heard that local Best Buy stores may have it, too. She also has a recently released 3 mile that uses the ab belt. It's called Walk Away Your Waistline. I love that one, too! Can you tell I'm addicted to Leslie's workouts?

This morning I did the 2 Mile Fast Start from Walk Slim. I haven't done one with the intervals in awhile and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Which Walk Away the Pounds video would you recommend for a beginner? There are SO many to choose from, I can't decide which would be better. Thanks!

Hi Daimere!

All of the WATP dvds are great, but if you're new to exercise, I'd being with any of her 1 mile walks. Many of them also come with 2 & 3 mile walks so you can work up to them. Look around on amazon or collagevideo.com, read the reviews and see what you think you'd like. Many of them also have boosters, so it's good to have a set of 2-3lb weights or a stretchie band as well.

Hi guys, today I did the 2 mile WATP (I haven't done it in so long...it was fun revisiting it)!

Cassie, I have done both Walk & Kick and Wack & Jog and I love them both as well...I don't want to do jogging right now but I've thought of doing the Walk & Kick...I'm actually going to talk to my OB about what I can do...I'm not worried about doing Leslie's lower impact exercise (before my appt) but anything with a lot of bouncing scares me..both of my girls were born early and although I had "easy" early pregnancies, I want to watch what I do! Oh, and I'm definitely going to buy 3 mile walk slim..I can save the 2 mile until after the pregnancy!

I may try the other express videos and am going to check out the new one on amazon.

You know, even though I don't feel like I get my heart rate up that much when I do the tape, I feel exhausted by the 4th mile. Like, I could fall over any minute. That must mean I'm getting a good workout, right?

Thank you. I'm just nervous to get one that I won't like. I got so many that I don't need any more that I won't use. So, I just want to make the right decision. I have 2-3 lb weights and stretchy bands, so I will be good in that department.

Hey girls! I can't remember if I posted my exercise yesterday or not, but I did 4 fast miles...well, MOST of it. My DVD skipped for some reason and it cut out about 10 minutes! i was so mad. I need to look into that before I attempt it again, it's brand new!
Also did some strength training yesterday.
Today, I did Walk & Jog this morning, and 2 Mile Express this evening.

Okay Ladies, after all your words of advice and a little addictive shopping from me, I have ordered:

The new 3 mile from Amzon
3 Mile Walk Slim (and doesn't that come with a get started and 2 mile..)
And, all of the Express Walks (except the 4 mile which I had)..I bought 2 of VHS for a MUCH better price since I plan on using them only through the pregnancy! I was tired last night but I think I got a 1 ml, 2 ml, 3 ml and Walk Strong..does that sound right?

I also ordered 3 pregnancy DVD's early this week so it's going to be like my birthday by next week!

Tonight, I skipped Leslie but I did walk for an hour on my treadmill.

Hey gang

I guess I should be posting my exercise over here. I use Leslie's dvds also. I just love them. I find what works best for me is to get up at 5 am and do 30 minutes of walking before getting ready for work. If I don't do it first thing, I just don't seem to get to it.

Hey MicheleL - remember me? I haven't talked to you in awhile but it's great to see ya! How are you doing?

Here's what I've done so far this month

Monday Sept 3 = 3 miles
used the new Walk Slim 3 mile

Wednesday Sept 5 = 2 miles
used the WATP 2 mile

Sept = 5 miles

2007 = 107 miles

Don't y'all just love the new Walk Slim dvds? boy are they a work out or what! ;-)

Wonderful! I think it's great that you're going to continue exercising during your pregnancy..I should have done that with my kids instead of scaring down fast food burgers, lol. With my next pregnancy, I VOW to workout.
You'll enjoy those DVD's!
