Talking Firm vs. Slim in 6

So I've decided that I need more DVDs to add to my collection. I get bored easily, so I like to switch it up a lot! Lately I've been seeing the infomercials for Slim in 6 and The Firm Cardioweight systems. They both look interesting to me. Has anyone tried both? Which did you like better? How long are the routines? Are they mostly just toning or are they aerobic also? I need mostly toning. I have videos that I enjoy for cardio. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you get bored easily, Do NOT get Si6. Each workout in the set is just like the other but with a few more exercises. Plus the music is obnoxiously the same.

There's a bit more variety in Slim Series, but not enough for people who get bored easily...

I agee, I like slim in 6 and it does work, especially with toning. But it does get repeative. It's even got to the point where I can perform the entire routine without playing the dvd

I also agree... For me having a timer on the side of the screen counting down the minutes seemed like torture. I usually can lose track of time with a DVD, but not with the seconds and minutes counting down. LOL! Have you tried bellydancing? It's a ton of fun! The bellydance twins, Neena and Veena have some great videos/dvds. (Slim down, and hips and thighs.......I can usually find them at Target, amazon.com, and sometimes even Ross.) Also- netflix has a ton of workout dvds, including bellydance, so you can rent before you buy.

I just received my 'Firm' package in the mail yesterday. I will try out a few dvds today and then give a review. I really like their old videos (although some of them look a little 'pornish.' I'm sure they have changed....)

Plus you can get all of Slim In 6 for free on Exercise TV. (Look in the On Demand section of your cable channels? They're all there.)

Thanks for the help! I don't like to have a countdown either. I like to just enjoy the workout and not worry about how much time I have left. So that's good to know. I'll have to look on the On Demand thing. Just to check it out. I always forget to look there.

I have tried belly dancing before, but not recently. I'll have to look for my old tapes. I wonder where I stuck them. Thanks for the suggestions!

I got mine yesterday, too.

I only previewed one of them, but it reminded me VERY much of Slim Series (and that's a good thing).

Today, i'm going to preview the rest (I got all 11 dvd!! )
