Yesterday I took a day off and went shopping with my daughter while the guys are camping. Today, I almost took another day off, but guilt kicked in (especially with all the meals we ate out this weekend!), and I did the new 4 Really BIG Miles again. I feel so much better knowing that I did it, too!

I already did the 4 Really BIG Miles again today! I just love the music and the pacing! I may even do all or part of it again later!

Yesterday was an off day because I had to mow the lawn, which was cardio in itself! This morning I have done 2 WATP miles (the first mile of the new 4 Really BIG miles twice), but I'm planning on doing more! I had to take a break because my stomach was telling me that if I didn't eat, it would rebel! I was getting that kind of light-headed feeling from not eating (though I had breakfast).
Hope everyone is having a good week--mine has been weird with hubby and son gone camping!

Hello ladies, I hope you don't mind me popping my head in here. I'm looking for a new workout routine to mix in with my DDR and weight training sessions and there are so many fans of WATP on these forums I thought I should have a closer look.
After reading your thread and a bit on her website I'm excited to try it, but money is definitely an issue right now, and the library (unfortunately) isn't an option. I'd like to buy one of the packages on her website that includes a few different workouts and possibly some extras (the stretchie and waist... band... thing look good - I don't need hand weights or anything). I wanted to know what you all would recommend to me?
Here is a link to her videos online: http://www.lesliesansonevideos.com/ - packages way down in the bottom 3rd of the page.
For reference, I'm not in especially good shape, but I believe the lowest intensity beginner workouts would be too easy for me. So something intermediate, or bridging between beginner and intermediate, would be nice. So far I'm looking at the "Walk Slim Fast Miles 3 Pack" and the "Abs Package - 1,2,3 Miles," but I'm totally open to other suggestions!
Thanks so much for the advice.

I have all of the packages and any of them would be a good investment, but, if I had to choose, I'd pick the new Walk Slim set! It has a great combination of walking, "boosted walking" (jogging) and firming. The music is AWESOME and there's a good variety of moves. The stretchie comes with it, so you don't need to spend extra money on it (though getting the belt, which could be used with any workout is a smart idea!).
Just my 2 cents....
Michele

milleradah: I like the newest 4 Really BIG Miles even better then the other 4 miler in Walk Slim! The music is almost like dancing in places and she has a few different moves. The boosted walking is just that and little kicks, not her attempt at leg swings to replace sidesteps (which I can't do anyway). Time seems to go by even faster, and I get a great sweaty workout, but I don't feel like it's too fast. I love the original 4 fast miles in Walk Slim and I love the 5 mile Advanced Walk, too. I just happen to love this one even more!
